Zane stood at the front of the room with his usual intimidating aura. He scanned the room with sharp, deep green eyes, as if the scowling expression had become a permanent fixture on the guild master's face.
Rama contemplated from his seat in the middle of the room. 'Is he always like this even at home with his family?'
Then, Rama's gaze shifted to Alysia, who was seated in front of him. 'If that's the case, maybe my life is a little better than Alysia's.'
"I've heard the report about what happened from Yuka," Zane began. "I want to know your opinions on this situation."
The Hunters exchanged glances. Rama remained calm, convinced he was not under suspicion.
"Luca, Jill, Vernon, and Nic, please provide a detailed account of what happened," Zane instructed.
