Members of the shadowy criminal organization all identified as "shadows," and Ethan had a hunch that the masked shadow was the same masked man he'd encountered the day before.
"Sure, why not," Ethan muttered nonchalantly as he sauntered into the room and settled at the table, idly fiddling with his nails.
"But when you think about it, I do wonder what the shadow would say about someone questioning his envoy. Would he want you both dead?" Ethan continued, his tone nonchalant, suggesting he was simply thinking out loud rather than directly addressing the district master and Oscar.
