Chapter 44 - Formidable strength

With lazy and determined eyes, Murky gestured urgently, consumed by an intense determination.

"Raaaahh!"

His muscles strained, veins pulsating beneath his reddened skin as he removed his armor, discarding it without hesitation.

The Elder Progenitor, a powerful creature of immense strength, momentarily recoiled, retracting its bloodied claw before emitting a thunderous howl that pierced the air, a haunting symphony of defiance and rage directed at Murky.

"Aaaaaarrggghh!"

The Progenitor also angrily screamed out oiud.

Without pause, the Elder Progenitor lunged towards him with a burst of speed, clearly intent on attacking.

The ground beneath, quake. His body rumbles forward like a drill, digging through the air and dust.

Unfazed by the imminent danger that was coming like a raging humanoid bull, Murky's face twisted into a crazed smile, mirroring the creature's malevolence.

"This is a part of my plan, the part where the fun begins!"

He muttered, his words barely audible amidst the adrenaline-fueled sprint that propelled him forward.

Soon, Murky saw the Progenitor felt like levitating.

Swoosh!

Soon, he realized why the Progenitor seemed like it defied gravity, it launched itself into the air, ready to deliver a devastating kick aimed at Murky.

Drawing on its extensive combat training, Murky did not anticipate the attack.

With a skillful display of deception, it pretended to be vulnerable, fooling Murky to his state of adrenaline, allowing the Elder Progenitor's kick to connect.

Bam!

The impact reverberated through Murky's face, yet his eyes was still shining solid, his determination. remained resolute, his focus was unwavering.

This made the Progenitor surprised, that it stopped a for that moment.

Seizing the opportunity, Murky quickly grappled the Elder Progenitor, overpowering the beast with raw strength.

Kacha!

With a powerful crash, he slammed the creature onto the unforgiving ground, causing the earth to tremble under their weight.

Kaboom!

The Elder Progenitor, arms crossed defensively over its chest, found itself at Murky's mercy.

With unwavering resolve, Murky advanced towards its vulnerable form, a twisted grin etched upon his face.

"Die!"

His fist struck the Elder Progenitor's face like a raging storm.

However, defying all logic, the Elder Progenitor allowed the blow to pass through its ethereal form, slipping away like a phantom.

"Huh?"

Murky felt like this bastard used his strategy to him.

Seizing the fleeting opportunity, the Progenitor swiftly maneuvered behind Murky, its tight grip constricting around his neck, threatening to extinguish his life force.

"Heh!"

Murky snorted, and driven by crazed exhaliration, did not try to break free from the Elder Progenitor's hold, he propelled forward with a surge of adrenaline.

Swoosh!

He darted through the thick foliage, the tree branches becoming his allies in this deadly dance of combat between two adversaries.

Crack! Bang! Crack! Bang!

Soon, Murky saw something, and then he smiled crazily while Progenitor still clung on his back.

Swoof!

With unyielding determination, he used the momentum of his sprint to slam the Elder Progenitor against a towering oak.

Kaboom!

The tree shuddered, bearing witness to the immense force behind Murky's assault.

"Kaaaarrrhh…"

A spray of crimson erupted from the Progenitor's mouth, evidence of the injuries inflicted upon it.

Undeterred by the relentless climbing of the determined enemy, Murky remained focused on his next move.

He ran again!

The creature, weakened but still putting up a fight, clung stubbornly to his back, refusing to let go.

Showing unwavering determination, Murky repeated his previous action and propelled himself towards another tree nearby.

The enemy, trapped between Murky's strong body and the solid trunk, felt the crushing impact of the collision.

"Karaaaahhh!"

Blood spilled from its mouth once again, showing the punishment it endured.

Finally, fatigue overcame the enemy, and its strength dwindled as it released its desperate grip.

Shush!

Murky's eyes widened with a mix of surprise and determination as he saw what was in front of him.

The formidable enemy, known as the Progenitor, a civilization that destroyed countless souls and creatures, was now within his reach.

As long as he could lay his hands on it, he will finally kill it with his own barehands.

Without hesitation, he lunged forward, snatched the Progenitor from his back, and forcefully slammed it onto the hard ground.

Kaboom!

The impact sent shockwaves of power through Murky's body, fueling his adrenaline.

Driven by the surge of adrenaline, Murky unleashed a barrage of punches on the fallen Progenitor.

"Ha!" "Ha! Haaarrggh!!"

He screamed with his fist landing continuously to the face of the Progenitor.

Left, right, left, right, left—the relentless assault continued.

Each blow landed with tremendous force, creating a violent symphony that echoed in the chamber.

Crack!

Blood splattered across Murky's clenched fists as he exerted himself, determined to eliminate any remaining trace of life in the battered Progenitor.

He wouldn't stop until his enemy lay lifeless before him.

If it does one time, he will make sure that it will die seven times!

However, Murky's relentless attack did not go unnoticed.

The elders, who were mere spectators to this monumental showdown, stood frozen in disbelief.

"What the!?"

They were speechless, their mouths wide open, as if their very souls had been ripped out of their bodies.

The spectacle unfolding before them was beyond their comprehension.

Just what the hell is happening?

Was everything the are see were even real?

How could ordinary humans possess such unimaginable strength?

It contradicted everything they thought they knew about human capabilities.

Indeed, this was an uneven battle, a one-sided beating that left the elders questioning their understanding of power.

Was this why Elder Mortimer had chosen Murky as the ultimate prey?

The sheer ferocity of Murky's onslaught shook Mortimer to the core, undermining his own confidence.

The Progenitors, formidable beings covered in impenetrable armor, were believed to be unmatched in combat.

Yet, without their protective gear, they were far from invincible.

Still, they were expected to have twice the strength of any human, and their combat skills were renowned.

A normal human shouldn't be able to defeat a Progenitor in hand to hand combat.

So how was Murky able to defy these expectations?

With a loud crash, Elder Mortimer slammed his fist onto the table, his frustration boiling over.

"Damn it!"

He exclaimed, his voice filled with anger and desperation.

Mortimer had been trying to figure out the source of Murky's devastating attacks that came from the sky earlier, but he was left confused and overwhelmed by the mystery before him.

So he stopped trying to find it.

Now, all he wanted was to get rid of Murky, to eliminate the threat that had disrupted his carefully constructed plan for his people.

So, Mortimer came up with a plan—a way to make Murky fight him in a Trial of Combat.

The Trial of Combat was an old and sacred tradition that Mortimer would use to challenge Murky directly.

If Murky refused the duel, his own suit would turn against him, causing his own downfall.

It was a serious consequence, like a death sentence for saying no. Mortimer was the only one who knew this secret, and it gave him confidence.

Even if Murky accepted the challenge, Mortimer was sure he would win.

After all, Murky was just a human—a weak vessel compared to the powerful Progenitors. And with the added strength of the Progenitor nano blood armor, Murky's fate seemed certain.

In the midst of the intense battle, Elder Mortimer remembered how surprised he was to see Murky, his created stepping stone or the ultimate pray, suddenly drop his weapon.

Although Mortimer was initially taken aback, he quickly accepted what was happening.

Nothing will change.

A normal Progenitor was comparer to almost two humans.

Little did he know that what he was about to witness would leave him completely astonished.

Murky, displaying incredible strength, effortlessly defeated their powerful opponent, the Progenitor.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Right now, he was still bashing that Mortimer had sent.

Leaving Mortimer couldn't help but wonder about the inherent weakness of humans.

How was it possible for Murky to possess such immense power, like that of a mighty bear?

Soon, Mortimer's disbelief was shattered when he saw the newborn Progenitor's face crack and crumble like an egg meeting a merciless rock.

Crack!

Meanwhile, Murky remained unfazed by the exertion.

His relentless pursuit of strength had led him to acquire the ability to transform into a Draugr warrior, a universal power granted to him in the realm of Taming Hundred Thousands of Dragons— juts kidding, it was sheer luck and craziness for him.

This was his second remarkable ability, the first being the skill to summon the mighty dragon Snow White, earned through his unparalleled prowess, which secured him the top rank.

In his Draugr form, Murky's strength surged to a level five times greater than his ordinary human self. Like a large bear towering over a mere human, he stood unmatched.

Although the Progenitor showed superior grappling techniques, Murky's weight, strength, and overall skill put him in a completely different league.

Soon, a surge of confidence filled him as he looked at the communication device, through which the elder Progenitor, the one who had turned him into the ultimate prey, watched the unfolding spectacle.

With a challenge in his voice, Murky spoke to the elder Progenitor, his words filled with defiance, "Hey, old man, is there no one else?"
