Right after Shing spoke, there was silence in the room, but what had broken out of that silence was Marcus, who had gone into a laugh.
"Oh, come on now!" Marcus said. "Just because he survived a shot from Tanya doesn't mean you should be going around and saying things like that to our guest now; you should know better."
Shing's finger was still pointed at Raze, and he didn't know why, but it was quite infuriating to him. To the point where he wanted to just get up from where he was and snap it. However, Raze remained calm.
'Well, those words confirmed it; he certainly knows something about me. The fact that he says I shouldn't be alive, is he referring to the real me?'
"I'm not saying it because of that," Shing added, and it was the first time Raze was fully hearing him speak. He wasn't illiterate, but he himself had his mind full.
