Chereads / Cleon And The Dark Guild / Chapter 11 - Urgent

Chapter 11 - Urgent

Jace's steel whip emerged from the ground and shot straight for the Orc's right hand holding the club. The steel whip hooked the Orc's arm and pulled him down so he couldn't swing his club. The orc started to struggle because his movements stopped, he roared again very loudly. Not wanting to waste the opportunity, Cleon, Reiga and Ava immediately made their move.

The three of them jumped together and started to prepare their own attack magic.

"Continuous Fire Shots!!"

"Unison Raid!!"

"Arrow Of Light!!"

The attacks of the three of them released simultaneously towards the Orc's body from above.

"Duuaaarrrghhh!!"

A big explosion occurred, their attacks hit the target without any defense at all. The Orc's body was slightly pushed back and finally fell. Cleon didn't stop there, he returned to preparing his next attack. Cleon stretched his right hand up with an open palm, he seemed to be concentrating on preparing the next attack. Black clouds began to form into a vortex above Cleon.

Realizing this, Reiga and Ava immediately avoided Cleon. Flashes of light from the black clouds began to illuminate the area around them, the gusts of wind became stronger. Cleon still seemed to be concentrating and determining the right time. Not long after that, Cleon immediately pointed his palm at the Orc who was still lying on the ground.

"Comulonimbus!!"

A bolt of lightning quickly struck the Orc's body. The surrounding ground had quite a big hole because of the attack released by Cleon. The Orc's body sank inward and didn't seem to move at all.

"Is it working?"

"It seems to work, he has no chance to make any defense at all."

Jace and Rhodes looked so weak, they had expended a lot of magic mana. Reiga walked closer to the big hole and checked the condition of the Orcs himself. Reiga seemed to sigh a little because he had succeeded in defeating the rampaging orcs since they first appeared.

Cally walked up to them and stuck her hands out in front of her.

"Garden of Healing Dream Flowers!!"

Cally unleashed a garden of healing dream flowers that instantly enveloped all of their wounds. Quickly the wounds they all received earlier started to melt and heal. It was a little surprising for them because the healing rate used by Cally was so fast compared to ordinary healing magic. They just found out that Cally is a magic user who specializes in healing. It was no wonder that he had paid enough attention to his mana usage in the first place since it would come in handy during times like that.

"Wow! Amazing magic, I feel like I'm alive again."

"This is very different from the healing magic I'm used to."

**

Things began to calm down after they managed to beat the Orcs who suddenly went berserk. They all took turns resting and guarding. Cleon started to feel uncomfortable like something was stuck, but he didn't know what it was. He remembered the clue he got earlier, that thing that stuck in his mind a little. Reiga and Ava didn't seem to notice that, they were both seen leaning against a tree.

Jace and Cally were the same, as for Rhodes, he was standing guard on the tree alone.

"Cleon, what kind of magic can you use?" Jace asked breaking the silence.

"I can use the four elements of magic, but only the two are the most powerful, water and fire. Why do you ask that?"

"Four elements?! No way, normally our body can only use one element. "Even if someone can use these two elements, it's very rare," said Cally, very surprised.

Hearing Cleon's answer made everyone quite surprised, because they had all only ever met four element users. Ava herself, who had already been with him, just found out that he could use the four elements. However, this didn't surprise him anymore because he was starting to get used to Cleon.

"But in the battle just now you used magic that has nothing to do with that element."

"Yeah, I'm just trying to develop it myself." Cleon said casually.

"Not suprisingly. I was quite surprised when you were able to give an attack that had quite an effect on an Orc. Even though from the start we gave the attack it didn't have any effect. You can already master natural energy right?"

"Yes, I use natural energy for my magic attacks, but I'm not used to using it continuously. It takes quite a lot of concentration to be able to balance the two."

"But it's extraordinary for a child your age to be able to use natural energy. My teacher once said that using natural energy will add power to attacks and also reduce the burden on our bodies. I've been practicing to master it, but until now I haven't been able to master it and finally I gave up."

"You just need to be quiet and feel, then it will flow automatically. Maybe like that."

"Very bad teacher," said Ava when she heard Cleon explain how to use natural energy.

"Very simple, but very difficult to put into practice."

Reiga who heard the conversation between the two of them looked very interested, he himself had heard about natural energy. But he himself had never studied it. He had heard of this when he was still in his village. Achiles once discussed this and wanted to teach it to him but had not had the chance, and it was very interesting when he met friends who had already mastered it.

"So what is it like?" Reiga asked.

"Umm.. how do you explain it? It feels like you are inhaling and inhaling the air slowly and steadily, it will flow automatically into your body," Cleon replied with a slight movement of his hand to set an example.

"Like this?" asked Reiga while following the movement made by Cleon.

"That's right, then.. emm like what huh?" Cleon said while scratching his head, he didn't explain well. What is there is he himself is confused because what he feels is just like that.

Rhodes who was on guard above just kept quiet and listened to their conversation while observing their surroundings. The night was quiet and serene after the battle against the orcs was over. However, Rhodes didn't seem calm at all. He firmly believed that there would be things far more terrifying than the previous battle.
