Ethan
I did not even think twice as I ripped my front door open and down the labyrinth of hallways that led to one of the elevators. Just as I rounded the corner I collided with a wall causing me to tumble down on the floor.
A weight fell on top of me causing both of us to let out a groan. I looked up and blue eyes met mine which caused my whole body to crumple as I tightly wrapped my arms around him and held him close to my chest. His tears wet my thin white shirt as he held onto me tightly as if I would disappear.
"I'm sorry Ethan," he sobbed, "I'm sorry I didn't leave. I just couldn't. I'm confused and I- I- I don't understand what's going on with me. I just can't choose and I'm scared because I don't want to lose you."
"I'm sorry," I cried with him as all I could do was hold him, on the hard wooden floor of my penthouse and I was grateful I did not have any neighbours because no one could go up to this floor without my permission.
