Demyan
Samuel, unlike Dad, was a full blooded Trinidadinian born and bred. He was shorter than Dad, Pa and I but made up for it by his strong stature. Nika was forty-nine and Samual had just turned fifty. They spent most of their time in Trinidad but her father travelled a lot for work since he was a business advisor.
He was stern, much more sterner than Nika who was strict but extremely soft spoken. The first few times I met him I highly suspected he hated me but overtime it seemed he had warmed up to me until I had gotten his daughter pregnant.
When he entered the cafe, we all stood ready to greet him and Nika rushed to him to give him a tight hug. He had milk chocolate skin, curly hair he preferred to keep short and hazel eyes which influenced Malia's a lot. He was dressed in formal trousers and a button up shirt with formal shoes. He held a coat and in his other hand he held his briefcase and duffle bag.
