Seth and Druke circled each other warily, each sizing up their opponent. Druke moved with surprising speed and agility. His mastery over darkness and shadows would make him difficult to hit.
Druke made the first move, his shadow detaching and morphing into a clawed beast that lunged at Seth. With lightning fast reflexes, Seth sliced through it, dispelling the illusion. More shadow creatures followed, flanking him from all sides.
Seth was already use to his ability and so he could adapt but he was a bit shocked, he worded to Druke, "You actually improved a bit, I'm impressed"
Seth closed his eyes, calming his mind and extending his senses. At the last second he exploded into motion, cutting down the beasts in a dazzling display of swordsmanship. But the barrage had allowed the real Druke to close in and grab Seth by the throat before he could react.
Seth smirked as he was really caught off guard, he remained still.
"Got you now, Seth !" Druke gloated, tightening his grip. Shadowy tendrils wrapped around Seth, sapping his strength.
Refusing to panic, Seth focused his energy into Diablo, instinctively activating another Kata. The black sword glowed, releasing a pulse of energy that made Druke recoil, breaking his hold. Now free, Seth unleashed a ruthless 12-hit combo, pushing Druke back and leaving cuts on him.
Snarling, Druke sank into his own shadow and emerged behind Seth, nailing him with a brutal punch. Seth rolled with the blow and sprang back to create distance. This fight would not be easy. The two regarded each other with newfound respect before clashing again, the room shaking with the force of their attacks.
Seth stands still and words, "I have recived quite enough hits from you and now I'll end our fight" .Seth sheaths his sword and words to Druke. "Prepare yourself Druke"
Druke gasped and whispered to himself, "it's been weeks I received that attack and I'm still not healed, I can't take another, that attack will kill me if he means it"
Druke fell to his feet and words, "Spare me!"
Seth laughed out, "haha…. I wasn't going to use it, I'm way too injured to use it, well as it stands, I guess this is the highest ranking amongst Frey's army"
Druke accepted with Shame and words, "Yes…. I'm the grand commander of her army, this is the limit of our power"
Seth words to him, "Don't under-rank your strengths, you're strong just that you met someone freakishly stronger"
He looks to Frey as she had passed out, "Druke assist Frey, lead me to your throne room and take her to were she'll recover"
Druke picks Frey up and moves wakes Reed and Lore, they were battered but Seth avoided their vitals they all moved out of that room which was in shambles and headed to the throne room in the labyrinth.
They moved through a thin passage with hardened rocks on both sides, Seth was behind them all naturally with Reed taking the lead, Druke and Lore followed.
They soon came to a dead end and Seth's senses became heightened, he wasn't sure why they brought him to such a stop.
He attempted to speak and before he could word, Reed placed his right hand on the wall and words, "Unveil"
The walls start to shatter revealing what seemed like a village under ground, the space was so big it left Seth speechless, he look up and above were little crystals that acted as the sun and moon, sources of light.
He immediately words, "Where are we?"
Reed replies, "this is an ancient town which was buried under ground as punishment for holding the heavenly beast which was casted down, our queen Frey caused this anomaly"
Seth was in shock, Reed continues to speak as they moved through the town, Seth could see races of Ogre's, Demonoids like him and Orcs, they all seemed to have a well defined humanoid form, amongst them were also lesser grade monsters like the devil apes he bested.
"People above think that this village is a myth, as it been sunk for at least a thousand years and as it stands from information obtained civilization here is stronger than their kin above"
Seth gasped, "So none of you has ever been to the surface?"
Reed chuckled as he smiled,"Only Druke managed this feat, as he's the only one here with the Dark affinity, I don't know how he managed it but he's the only one that has been to the top"
They talk as they moved through complex structures made of stone, Seth felt sad that they hadn't felt the warmth of the sun but he was happy to see the aesthetic of the home, he could see the happy faces of the intelligent ones as they lived like a through family.
Soon some noticed their appearance and rushed over. "Queen Frey. Commander what happened"
One of the beings that approached them asked he looked demonoid, Druke hands Frey over to him and words, "Take the Queen to her word and call on the healers to start restoration"
They demonoid took Frey and went on into this magistic building, it was the tallest and finest of the structures in the village, built with diamonds on the exterior, Seth words, "What a resourceful way to handle minerals"
Druke looks to Seth and words, "Sir!, we're here the throne room is up ahead"
They moved in to see the in side more beautiful designed with the ores found in the cave, as thought the whole building was made of glass, they kept on moving in and taking turns, Seth noticed some guards and maids and then they came to a large door, Druke then words to Seth.
"Behind this door is the throne room, though why do you want to be in here"
Druke opened the door waiting for Seth's reply as they went in it was a rather large and beautiful room.
The underground throne room was surprisingly large, dimly lit by rough stone walls etched with swirling patterns. At the back stood a heavy block throne carved from minerals Seth couldn't identify,Twin statues flanked the throne, depicting the god with arms raised.Though plain, an air of primal power permeated the earthen space.
Seth words to himself mischievously as he chuckles.
"A real throne!!"
