Ayra paced through the narrow lanes in search of her mischievous child that she couldn't even keep close to her for one second without running away.
She was a rather active kid, much like her father, but Ayra knew Garnt was much more tame than Guni.
"Aran! Mera!" she called out, her voice carrying a mix of concern and frustration. "Guni, where are you? Answer me!"
The village, usually filled with laughter, felt eerily silent because everyone was getting ready to celebrate the village founding festival and most of the people were outside the village preparing the proper stage for the event.
Meanwhile, a spirited game of hide and seek was in full swing at the village square. Guni, Ayra's daughter, was fiercely protective of her siblings. When she noticed a group of boys bullying a timid boy, she couldn't stand idly by, especially when it was her brother.
