As the battlefield roared back to life, the defenders quickly reloaded the ballistas and trebuchet. Giant arrows soared through the air once more, but this time, the dinosaur seemed more resilient. The projectiles bounced off its thick hide or veered off course, failing to deliver the desired impact.
"Damn it! It's getting used to our attacks. It is purposely trying to hide all the places that we could possibly harm." One of the ballista men shouted.
Garnt, realizing the urgency of the situation, took matters into his own hands. He sprinted towards one of the ballistas, shouting commands to his comrades.
"Focus on the eyes! Aim for its vulnerable spots, everyone! Don't give up. We just have to land one good attack and it will go down."
Garnt ordered his men to swiftly load a giant arrow into the ballista, his eyes locked onto the approaching dinosaur. With practised precision, he aimed and released the projectile.
