The next morning I prepared myself and had my breakfast after which I made my way towards the forest with new found purpose in mind.
Today is the day I'm getting that awesome skill so I am not holding back. speeding through the dense forest I started looking for it, occasionally running into many new monsters like the earth ape. although killing it was a big pain in the *ss I still managed to pull it off. after absorbing it, it gave me the skill embodiment of earth
[embodiment of earth: using the earth to cover your entire being giving you a great boost in defense and continuous contact with earth would repair any damage done on the armor made of earth. uses a sh*t ton of mana]
when fighting with it, I continued to destroy the armor until the ape ran out of mana to maintain it then beat the sh*t out of it
I also saw a flaming tiger. they are more like the crimson wolves but what sets them apart is one very overpowered skill
[body of flames: by activating this skill, flames cover your whole body granting you higher speed and strength but at the cost of lowering the body's natural defenses. also uses a sh*t ton of mana]
I also beat the f*cking hell out of this big cat, it had so much mana that the fight dragged on for almost an hour. I was impressed by it I wanted to tame one but they are really a proud bunch, well not as proud as me, hehehe.
another weak but hard monster to kill are the slimes. don't let their harmless looks fool you, those b*stards are a troublesome bunch most especially when they are in groups because of one skill
[acidic absorbtion: turning a part of the body into a corrosive and poisonous substance that dissolves and absorbs anything either living or dead.]
but I didn't absorb it, I'm fine without the skill. I mean just imagine while having some fun with a girl and you are about to release your jizz then because of your ecstatic feeling accidentally activate the skill turning the girl to a pile of bones, hehehe just kidding nothing of that sort can happen I just don't like the skill, that's all.
I also met with some bandits, they were so nice as to show me their hide out and I got some skills and a whopping sum of seven hundred and fifty six thousand credits, they were really rich. I didn't take their weapons or armor as there can be somebody who can recognize it.
[space lock: by locking the space around your opponent, they would be unable to move giving you a great opportunity to attack.
note: the stronger the opponent, the easier it is for then to break free]
[rock bullets: by coating the rocks in the surroundings in mana they become more destructive and dangerous for the opponent]
[swift foot: using the wind to give a momentary boost in speed]
[stupefying charm: makes you more good looking, approachable and welcoming. (passive)]
[mana regeneration: two times increase in the speed of mana regeneration (passive)]
[silent steps: makes your steps more silent, sneaky and harder to notice (passive)]
these are the ones I decided to keep, the rest are just useless.
If you are wondering what I am looking for, I will tell you now. I am looking for some kind of settlement were these monsters stay. They live in groups and sometimes create some kind of village where they live. They live in similar heirachy to medieval eras kings and queens but for them the strongest male and female becomes their ruler.
After hours of searching, I saw monster walking on two feet, red coloured skin with bulging arms and legs, small tusks protruding from their mouths small all black eyes, a potbelly and their trade mark bald head with a dead iron fist monkey on its shoulder it is called the red oni, they have remarkable strength and are really tough to kill because of their skin, it's as hard as metal and a skill that makes you not want to fight it, unfortunately it's not this type of oni I am in search of.
[berserk state: loses all rationality for a five times increase in strength for an hour. Their attacks become more unpredictable due to the lack of thought making them a really tough bunch to fight. after deactivation all stats would be reduced by half for two days]
it was walking north, maybe back to it's settlement. if I follow it I may be able to locate the type of oni I am looking for but that would mean I'm going to face a whole village of oni tribesmen.
I continued to follow it for half an hour until we reached a really big cave where four red skinned Oni's were at the entrance of the cave. they were slightly bigger than the one I followed.
I stopped at a nearby bush while the oni that I followed here went towards the cave, after reaching the cave it released a couple of grunts which another red oni replied with his own grunts before letting him into the cave.
I waited for a while before sneakily walking towards an oni that was farther from the three. while it was not looking I quickly covered it's mouth and slit it's throat before dragging it's dead body to a nearby bush, assassinating with an axe is no easy feat I tell you. I did the same thing for the second one and third one but the third one released a cry of pain when I released my hand, maybe it was not fully dead but it accomplished the task of alerting the last one. I quickly covered the distance between the two of us before it knows what is going on and fired a fire ball on it's face before cutting it's head clean off.
I sneakily made my way into the cave and the sight that greeted me was one that would drive any hero mad. apart from the different Oni's walking around, there were many cages containing women and female children all naked having scrapes, bruises and cuts all over their bodies with some of them having swollen stomachs, a sign of pregnancy. in their cages, there was a lot of sh*t, I mean real sh*t that comes out of your *ss, piss and dried semen on the cage floor and on some of their bodies. unfortunately for them, I ain't no hero. if it wasn't for the fact that I needed their skill, I won't be here today. There were three types of Oni. The red skinned oni that I explained about before, the grey skinned oni that possess remarkable strength and craftsmanship but the red skinned Oni's are stronger
[oni style craftsmanship: The basic craftsmanship that the grey skinned Oni's possess. They are able to create simple weapons like clubs, blunt swords and the likes]
and lastly, the Oni's whose skill make them real hard to kill and also what I have been looking for, The black skinned Oni's with great speed and endurance with a really powerful skill
[Regeneration: by using the energies present in the body, they can heal all wounds. From cuts and bruises to severed arms and legs. if there is no energy left in the body this skill would not activate.
note: if the heart or head is destroyed, this skill would not work (energy here refers to food in the body or calories not mana) (passive)]
Since I am going to fight every oni here, I might as well do it in style.
I immediately cast [Thunderstorm] and the whole sky darkened before releasing some powerful lightning strikes, killing a lot of Oni's in the process. I also launched a lot of fireballs, rock bullets and water cannons, taking away a huge chunk of their fighting forces.
with my axe in hand, I launched myself into the panicked oni people and started cutting their heads, left and right
