Standing in front of viscount Patel, Keiran's heart beat turned faster while he was in the middle of the conversation, he felt an urge to look in a certain direction.
Listening to his instincts Keiran turned his head to the side he was getting the feeling from. He blinked his eyes as his mind went blank.
He couldn't think anything, the only thing that was present in his mind was the dark red aura in front of his eyes in that direction.
He started remembering what happened when he was only one day old and the guy responsible for putting Luna his little sister Luna in danger.
His mind was in shambles, dark thoughts passed by in flashes, looking at the back of the person who was emitting the dark aura.
His predicament lasted till he felt Luna his light holding his hand, once again pulling him from the darkness like the time she did when they were in the womb.
"Are you alright Keiran?" Luna asked, her eyes filled with concern as she looked in the direction he was looking and her figure froze like him.
This time Keiran's voice got a hold of her " I am fine, no need to worry about it. You too shouldn't for now."
Luna looked back in his worry filled eyes, as her own eyes softened.
"Are you alright, your highness" Raj Patel's voice caught his attention as turned to look at the man with mustache
"No need to worry, I just felt a little under the weather." Saying this he turned his gaze came back to the man he was looking for, looking at him made his eyes turn cold.
He wanted to see the face of the man he couldn't see back then. Having the opportunity he kept an eye on him waiting for the man to turn.
" Your highness should rest." Pallavi spoke with concern evident in her voice, which he once again ignored.
Seeing her daughter like this Mr. Patel sighed, as his eyes turned to the white haired girl beside the boy looking at him in worry, his eyes narrowed at their interlocked hands.
Thinking of something he felt his head hurting a little making him sigh once again as he rubbing his temples.
Ignoring his surroundings Keiran kept a watch on the figure of the man in black suit from the corner of his eye. His long hair caught his eyes.
His long wavy hair held a trace of wildness and free spirited nature. Yet despite being such unruly hair they were properly maintained.
As if feeling a gaze on his back the man started to turn little by little as his side turned visible to Keiran, before he could get a good look at the man's face a robust and tall man stood in the middle of him and the man he was looking at as he bowed which irked Keiran.
The only thing he could get a glimpse of was the red colored tattoo that was etched on the man's neck and was barely visible due to his shirt's collar, he could only see part of a horn like image.
"Pardon the barging in on your conversation, I was in a hurry to meet your highness. I am Marquess Vladimir Ivanov."
The man bowed a little as his gray suit wrinkled a little from the bow . " Nice to meet you Marquess Ivanov. I am Keiran Solunar." Keiran tried to be as polite as he could but he was angry because of this man he couldn't watch the culprits face.
He knew he was being unreasonable but couldn't help, It was his Luna that was almost killed.
He had already marked his father as a target for the thing he did with making her a bait, the only one left was the instigator behind the attack. If he could find the identity of the man, he would plan accordingly.
When he was a day old he couldn't see the culprit's face due to the shadow of the figures beside him and him being far away.
Now he couldn't let this chance slip by. After greeting the man he looked behind his back to check if the person had turned around.
What he saw was an empty area, it made him more angry.
The guy had changed position as he looked through the hall to find the aura once more the man in front of him intercepted once gain
"Is something the matter, your highness. Are you searching for someone..?" His question made Keiran calm down a little.
He looked at his twin sister who was looking at him with a worried gaze. She didn't care about anything else than Keiran's health right now.
'I can't lose my cool, I don't wanna worry her. Besides, I can always look for his aura with my eyes. He would be in the kingdom all the time as he has nowhere to go.' Thinking of this Keiran sighed, turning to Vladimir he spoke in a graceful manner
"Pardon my manners Mr. Ivanov, I thought I saw someone I was looking for. You don't have to worry about it, maybe it was just my mind playing tricks." Ivanov narrowed his eyes at his reply
" If your highness wants, I can be of help in your search." Keiran shook his head in reply "No need to trouble yourself, It is nothing but a small matter. If it was important I would have asked the Queen mother to find them."
Thinking of it as a plausible reason, Vladimir decided to drop the matter "Just know that you can always come to me if you need any help you highness".
He spoke those words in a rightful manner which even made Raj Patel's lips twitch as his mustache swayed a little.
"I will, Mr. Ivanov." Keiran gave a reply and soon they started a small talk along with the viscount Patel.
Luna sighed in relief seeing her brother back to normal and her eyes landed on Pallavi who was still looking at her brother with worried looks.
Even though she didn't hate the girl, she didn't think of her as a friend either.
The chances of her getting closer to her brother would increase if she would always come to the castle to see her friend, which was an idea she didn't like.
She was contemplating whether to be friends with her or not.
Deciding to leave this matter for the future she went back to her talk after pulling the girl away from staring at her brother.
As the day went by and sun started to set the party neared its end.
" Thank you everyone for coming to celebrate the birthday of our two princes and our little princess." Thorne's words gained the attention of everybody, after a short speech from the King the ceremony came to an end.
As the people started to leave Keiran and Luna also moved towards the gate to exit the hall.
As they were walking outside a figure collided with Keiran which made his steps stagger a little.
" I am sorry, your highness." The voice halted the boy's movements.
