Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: King's Order

In a lavish royal bedroom, the first ray of light slipped through the thick curtains, illuminating the room and making it shine.

At the center of the room, there was a big, fancy bed with soft, silky curtains.

The bed featured tall, shiny wooden posts adorned with intricate carvings, depicting captivating stories about the kingdom.

The curtains on top of the bed swayed gently in the breeze, as if offering a quiet greeting to the new day.

Flanking each side of the bed, ornate candle holders stood, their candles having burned through the night.

These remnants of flickering flames lent the room a cozy and slightly magical ambiance.

The floor was adorned with plush, vibrant carpets that offered a soft and inviting surface to walk upon, imparting a sense of tranquility to the room.

Sunlight streamed through the windows, casting its warm embrace upon the grand bed within.

Upon the bed reclined a stunning woman, her emerald-green hair cascading around her figure.

She was draped in a transparent gown that concealed neither her curves nor any part of her form.

The gentle touch of sunlight upon her face stirred the lady from her slumber, causing her features to twitch as she transitioned from dreams to wakefulness.

She slowly opened her eyes, taking in her surroundings with a slight sense of disorientation.

Rising from the bed, she cast her gaze about the room and, from the corner of her eye, noticed a cradle nestled nearby.

This sight triggered a rush of memories, reminding her of the birth of her twins just the day before.

She reached the cradle looked down and saw the innocent faces of her children as they were sleeping while holding hands.

The fact that they could move their bodies after being born reminded her of the fact that the baby born through the compilation of two different Ether users have stronger bodies than the ones born from normal individuals.

This seemed to bring some unpleasant memories in her mind as her face contorted in an ugly frown.

Turning around, she walked towards the bathroom which was connected to her room. She took off her robes which slid down her body as she walked towards the shower head.

Since Erla was a mage-type fighter, she didn't have many muscles on her body. Her figure was slender and graceful, and her assets were ample.

Erla walked into a spacious bathing chamber.

The room was adorned with glistening marble and luxurious features.

The golden bathtub in the middle glistened as the light on the ceilings shone upon it."

Walking to the bathtub, she turned on the tap as the hot water started to flow from it. She then walked under the grand showerhead and turned it on.

Water cascaded down onto her body like rain droplets. The drops of water traveled across her, passing through her ample but perky breasts, causing her small nipples to harden as they felt the cold water flowing around them.

The water drops traced the curves of her body, moving gracefully across her slender and graceful breasts. The stretch marks on her slim belly were healing slowly but surely on their own.

After a while, she turned off the tap and walked toward the bathtub. She picked up a basket filled with rose petals and emptied it into the warm water, letting the fragrant petals float on the surface.

The rose petals floated gracefully on the surface of the water, creating a beautiful layer of vibrant red against the warm, inviting bath. Erla carefully checked the water's surface with a slight movement of her hand before dropping some of her bathing essentials into the tub. Then, she entered the bath slowly and gracefully.

As her full body submerged beneath the water, leaving only her face above the surface, the warm waters embraced her, causing her to momentarily close her eyes in bliss.

The fragrant rose petals swirled around her, enhancing the sensory pleasure of the bath.

The gentle ripples played over her form, accentuating the natural contours of her body.

Her chest, as graceful as the rest of her, rose and fell with each steady breath.

The water, almost reverential in its caress, traced the subtle curves of her figure. while the layers of the top are covered with the rose complementing her beauty.

It highlighted the large swell of her breasts, a reflection of her femininity, and flowed gently down her sides, following the elegant lines of her form.

As time passed, Erla continued to relax in the bath, the warm water soothing her body and mind, but the two streaks of tears on her cheeks betrayed her inner turmoil as she remembered those memories while she looked at her babies.

After half an hour of soaking in the water, she decided it was time to get out.

She climbed out of the tub and, with a press of a button, summoned two maids to her assistance.

Within seconds, the maids entered the bathroom and began to delicately dry her body with soft towels.

They couldn't help but steal envious glances at the figure of their Queen, whose beauty and elegance were truly remarkable.

After getting dressed, Erla walked out of the room and approached a gilt-framed mirror positioned in one of the corners.

The table in front of the mirror held an array of exquisite jewels and perfumes.

She took a seat in front of the mirror, and it reflected her in a beautiful golden dress woven with luxurious satin, radiating a warm tone akin to the first rays of the sun.

Her reflection showcased her regal beauty and elegance, a true vision of a queen.

After the maids assisted her with makeup and jewelry, they respectfully exited the room, leaving Queen Erla alone with her two newborns.

Erla approached the twins, her curiosity piqued by their wakefulness. She observed them closely, her eyes carefully examining their features. Each baby seemed to be looking around with a sense of curiosity.

She couldn't help but notice the striking resemblance they shared, despite the differences in their hair and eye colors.

Their uncanny likeness surprised her, leaving her with a sense of wonder and intrigue.

As she stretched her hand to touch them, their expression changed as their face showed a little unwilling expression.

Before she could process what had happened the knock on the door of her room broke her thoughts.

She turned to look at the door and spoke in a soft and graceful voice.

"What is it?"

"Your Highness, Your Majesty has asked for your presence."

The look on her face contorted a little as she calmed herself and walked out of the room, leaving the twins alone.

"Let's go, send some maids to guard the prince and the princess and see to their needs."

The maids bowed and entered the room while one of them went towards the Throne room.

Walking into the room, the maids were met with the sight of the prince and princess lying in their cradle, their eyes devoid of any discernible emotions.

The maids were shocked by their unusual composure. Typically, children their age cried incessantly, seeking attention and care.

They gently lifted the prince and princess from their cradle, paying no heed to the slight frowns that briefly crossed their faces. Carrying them with utmost care, the maids made their way to the bathroom to begin the process of a thorough cleaning.

As Queen Erla made her way to the Throne room, her mind was preoccupied with thoughts of her newborn twins.

She couldn't help but feel a sense of unease about their uncanny connection and their reaction when she had tried to touch them.

Her steps were graceful and composed, as always, but her thoughts churned beneath the surface.

When she entered the Throne room, she found King Arion authoritatively sitting on the throne.

" You called for me?"

King Arion looked deep into her eyes with a cold gaze as started to speak with the same coldness.

"Did you have any idea what could have happened because of your actions? Because of you, we have to announce their birth today. I do not care that you can only think for yourself, but at least consider the consequences of your actions," King Arion's voice resonated with authority and disgust as he addressed Queen Erla.

Queen Erla did not respond as she looked down to hide the coldness in her eyes.

"Do you think forcefully making the children born early will make them the heir to the throne?...

Let me tell you something: if they don't awaken any powers or do awaken non-combat powers, you will bear the consequences then."

Queen Erla looked up looking back in King Arion's eyes while hiding the coldness in her heart and nodded her head.
