Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: The Way of Interchange

How wide was the sea of flowers? Ao Fan and Little Spirit were considered to have seen it.

They started moving at dawn, and had been walking in one direction at an extremely fast pace, but it was only at noon when the blazing sun was at their head that they discovered the edge of the Sea of Flowers.

Here, still hundreds of flowers, still everywhere fragrant. Just in front, there is a more loess stone wall, so wide that you can't see the edge, surrounded the whole sea of flowers. It was as if this beautiful sea of flowers was a canary in a cage, trapped by the loess stone wall.

Ao Fan and Little Spirit looked at each other, both noticing the astonishment in the other's eyes. They did not open their mouths to speak, but walked out along the loess stone wall for another good distance before stopping again.

They had to stop. In front of them, a dark cave appeared on the extremely earthy loess stone wall. Looking in from the outside, there was not the slightest bit of light inside.

"Brother, what's going on?" After looking at it for a long time, Little Ling'er really couldn't see a reason for it, so she could only ask suspiciously.

However, how could Ao Fan know what was going on here? He shook his head and said, "I don't understand the situation here either, but this place is still within the range of the Dragon Palace, so there shouldn't be any danger, otherwise it would have long since been wiped out by the strongest members of my clan."

Upon hearing this, Little Spirit Child's eyes instantly glowed and she smiled cheekily, "Then let's go in and take a look, just to see where this cave leads to."

"This?" Ao Fan heard this, but hesitated.

Unknown places would always make people wary. Although this place was still within the Dragon Palace, and there was normally no danger, but there was an eventuality, and it was inevitable that there would be accidents, and he didn't dare to take the risk.

Raising his head, he was about to refuse, only to realise that Little Spirit Child had already run into the cave, without the slightest emotion of fear.

"Little Ling'er." He shouted and had to take a step to run into the cave as well.

For Ao Fan, the closest thing to him is his own sister, Xiao Ling'er, no matter what, he has to protect Xiao Ling'er, even if he goes into the mountain of swords, under the sea of fire, not to mention the district of an unknown cave.

As soon as he entered the cave, Ao Fan realised that the light had weakened. Just now was a clear sky, the sea of flowers; at the moment it is dark, sight can not see too far away.

He was anxious about Little Spirit, did not observe the environment, straight rushed in, into the endless darkness.

In the darkness, there was only the sound of footsteps. Ao Fan did not run for long before he caught up with Little Spirit. In such a dark place, Xiao Ling'er didn't dare to go too far alone, so she stood still and waited for Ao Fan to come and meet her.

"Ling'er, how can you dare to enter this kind of unknown place alone, are you not afraid of accidents?" Ao Fan stepped forward and pulled Little Ling'er's hand, saying in a tone that carried a teachable message.

He couldn't afford to be angry with Little Spirit Child, but it didn't mean that he wouldn't go and educate Little Spirit Child and tell Little Spirit Child about some of the ways of the world. After all, Little Spirit Child was still young, even though she was very intelligent, she didn't understand everything.

Hearing Ao Fan's slightly chastising words, Little Spirit Child in the darkness spat out her little tongue and said, "People are just curious."

"No messing around next time." Ao Fan said, pulling up Little Spirit's hand and going back.

However, Little Ling'er shook his hand and said, "Brother, anyway, we've come inside, and it seems like we're almost on the other side, so let's just go and take a look can we?"

From where they were at the moment, looking towards the unknown side, they could find a point of light in that vast darkness, like a lamp in the night, not big but clear and bright. Obviously, that direction, is the end of the cave.

Ao Fan deliberated for a while, felt that his siblings have come to the cave, can still see the exit, so go back words, the heart will inevitably have curiosity residue, the whole day thinking about too annoying. And small spirit child curiosity, just like this let her leave, her heart will certainly not happy.

After thinking in his heart, Ao Fan nodded and said to Xiao Ling'er: "Continue to walk down to the other side of the passage to take a look, but as soon as we meet something wrong, we have to come back right away, got it?"

Little Ling'er nodded her head obediently, a smile swirling at the corner of her mouth, even in this dark environment, it was impressive to Ao Fan.

The two siblings continued to walk on, hand in hand, gradually approaching towards that point of light in the darkness. As that point of light gradually brightened, Ao Fan also seemed to smell a different scent, it was a feeling of déjà vu, as if he had also smelled it in the past.

A vicissitude of breath, accompanied by the wind, as if telling some kind of ancient history, whisked across Ao Fan's face, allowing him to once again feel this breath in detail.

This was the place where the Dragon Domain had been in bloom and decline for several times before it came into being, condensing the essence of the wisdom of the Dragon Clan from generation to generation. This is, the Dragon Valley!

Ao Fan finally remembered, and this familiar aura made him instantly understand where his siblings had entered.

"This passageway actually leads to the Dragon Valley." Ao Fan couldn't help but say, and apart from marvelling, he likewise told Little Spirit Er.

Xiao Ling'er also opened her mouth in surprise after hearing this, and then said, "The Dragon Valley is indeed in this direction, but after the passageway may not be the Dragon Valley yet, it may also be a place of resemblance, so we'd better go and take a look."

Ao Fan answered and took Little Spirit Er and proceeded to walk. Although what Little Spirit said was also very reasonable, Ao Fan had an intuition, an inexplicable intuition, as if at the end of the passage, what appeared must be the Dragon Valley!

Before long, they finally passed through the passage and walked into the bright place.

As far as the eye could see, it was all yellow earth and stone walls that surrounded the eight sides, accompanied by wind and sand. Here, that distant aura greeted them, making Ao Fan's feeling even stronger, with a feeling of looking up at a giant, his heart heavy.

"It really is in the Dragon Valley." Little Ling'er muttered softly, tilting her head to look around, and resumed, "And it's still at the entrance and exit of the Dragon Valley, I still remember what this place looks like, it hasn't changed at all."

This is actually the entrance and exit of the Dragon Valley?

Ao Fan also felt familiar, his heart moved, and he was about to speak, but another old, slightly hoarse voice took the lead, saying, "Two little dolls, who are you, and how did you find your way here?"

This voice was coming from behind Ao Fan and Little Ling'er!

I don't know how deep the cultivation of the person who uttered the voice was, but he actually came to the back of Ao Fan's two siblings without God's knowledge or realisation. If this person wanted to be unfavourable to Ao Fan and the others, they would never be able to see the next moment of sunlight.

Ao Fan and Xiao Ling'er immediately turned around and looked towards the cave they had previously walked through. As a result, they found that at the mouth of the cave, which was clearly deserted just now, there was an extra person, someone they had seen but were not familiar with.
