The instructor shifted and pointed his hand away from the edge of the peak.
"Welcome."
Walking up to the edge, I looked down from the edge and felt somewhat thrilled.
The face of the peak was somewhat flat and polished without any footing or jagged edges to get a grip on. And if I fell down, then without my soul skills, I would definitely smash myself bloodied on the foot of the mountain.
I probably could have saved myself if I had learned how to fly, a skill that one could acquire after reaching the cultivation realm of Astral Connection. But having just been promoted to this realm, I hadn't tried to learn it.
Even still, most Astral Connection cultivators could only fly for a while, only getting complete proficiency after being promoted into the Void Manifestation realm. Only a few geniuses could completely grasp the skill of flight in the Astral Connection realm.
