Just as Nimbus entered the portal, it was ejected out from it. There was no time delay, and it was totally instantaneous.
Except for the portal, which was now positioned behind the Nimbus, there didn't seem to be any change. The space looked similar to before we entered the portal, the same dark space with many twinkling celestial bodies adorning it.
Mother had previously warned us to brace ourselves, but nothing seemed to have happened. And just as I had opened my mouth to express this thought, it happened.
"It doesn't look like anything haapppenneeedddd… wwoooaaaahhhhh."
I started to feel slow; my actions and thought process became slow. Also, the ones present in front of me felt like they were extending and becoming noodle-like organisms. I looked down at myself and found my body itself to become spindle-like.
