All the bandits had questioning expressions on their faces as they looked at a hysterically laughing Avlon. "I think we've lost him" a bandit spoke. Avlon paused and stared at his hands, before casting his gaze toward the ruffians. "Aflerdon Has spoken.! The courtyard is ready for you." Avlon cryptically declared. "We don't have time for this, kill.!"Like the stafu that broke the delui's back(1^), that one word overturned the stale atmosphere, charging it with boiling anger. Avlon grinned as he struck out. Bloodshed, gripped by an aura of death, took an unreadable route, striking a shield and then the wrist of the bandit's sword-wielding arm. Alvon then quickly followed up this offensive by throwing Bloodshed, piercing the space between the man's brows.
"Aaaaaa, F##K YOU" " Are you okay Philinul?" "What's wrong with this motherf###er" The bandits watched as Avlon stood a distance away, blood poured from the cuts on his body. Alvon breathed heavily, he had paid dearly to preserve his life and only killed about 5 men before superior numbers and yet-to-heal injuries took their toll.
Mustering more strength and courage Alvon screamed like a (2^)Maraui savage tribe banshee. Die for ME!!!". Avlon lashed out with the viciousness of a vinoer(3^), Bloodshed flashed, appearing to grow in size, and the blade gained a jagged edge. The orb from earlier seemed to have enhanced the blade. Bloodshed had a heavy condensation of a feral aura. It seemed wild, untamed, and unruly, becoming wilder as it tasted blood.
A hand flew, freed from its attachment to the body, leaving a twisted white bone as the only remnant of its existence. As if in response to his impudence, an arrow tore through the air, empowered by aura techniques. Avlon was embroiled in an uphill battle, of similar magnitude to a curyo trying to stop a carriage (4^).
Overwhelmed by the multitude of opponents and ever-growing bloodlust, Alvon was struck in the side by the arrow. The blow unleashed instincts like that of a cornered beast, blinded by rage and pain, he trashed about. The throat of an unprepared bandit was slit, who then dropped to his knees and slowly choked on his own blood. The sound of the man gurgling blood, and the look on his face as he silently screamed for air, was like a pail of cold water over Avlon's head. It was then, that he registered one of the battlefield's true cruelties; slow, painful, death. While still in shock, Avlon suffered multiple quick but sharp strikes, which shook him out of his moment of reprieve.
Fighting off the pain, Avlon turned to block a strike from above, with his aura charged, his foot struck another bandit dealing a devasting blow. ~crack.!~ The sound of his bones breaking under the force of the kick resounded through the battlefield.
Blood poured out of his mouth, thick and viscous. The force of the kick slung the Bandit like an arrow released from a bow, he then tumbled to a stop next to Archer in the rear of the enemy. Avlon then proceeded to leap backward while drawing Windbreaker in one fluid motion. He drew the bow into a full moon and a suffocating feeling settled over the area, as a hazy courtyard formed behind him.
A large pair of glowing eyes, filled with madness, briefly appeared before scattering. "By order of Aflerdon, you are to visit his courtyard. Descent of the Courtyard!!!" The intangible became tangible as the image of the courtyard converged on the arrow.
Embued with energy, powerful enough to distort space, Avlon's figure flickered between a skeleton and a man. The suffocating aura encompassing the area disappeared as abruptly as the arrow did. An archer, claiming to be spared by the gods, was shocked but happy. Alvon with an exasperated expression, pondered the arrow's disappearance, but with no time to waste, he swept the matter under the rug so to speak, and readied himself.
Taking a moment to spare, he glanced at the idling members of the rough hundred-man party, and thinking of what would happen if they joined this scuffle, Avlon thanked Fatry for their condescending attitude.
Lunging forward to gain the initiative, Avlon lashed out with his knife. A bandit, still gloating in the 'supposed' victory, was immediately targeted. Bloodshed seemed to sing as it craved through his flesh.Screaming for clemency, Avlon responded with a flick of the blade, slitting his throat. Two bandits charged Avlon, and he met them with aura-enhanced arrows. As the energy tore away at the very fabric of their being, they died pitifully, creating a bloody scene. As Avlon advanced, he, with great effort, evaded some of the incoming arrows. Although he was struck, he gritted his teeth to fight the pain and responded in kind. Blocking with their shields, the bandits rendered them ineffective and as a sword and knife clashed, the trustworthy ghostly figure appeared once more.Avlon, following its movement, jumped backward. Then suddenly a loud ~boom!~ resounded across the battlefield, with a ~whoosh~ powerful winds raised a cloud of dust as a voice drifted from the epicenter " Can I crash this party? " The dust cleared to reveal a tall man, of about 6'0 su(5^), with short-cut black hair and relatively simple features.Appearing elated, one of the remaining bandits called out to him, " Graz! ", " You couldn't have come at a better time " " This kid is crazy, hurry up and kill him so we ca.... " The bandit who spoke trailed off as Graz stared at him, fury coloring his eyes he roared, " You are supposed to be helping with the raid.! " Stammering, a bandit tried to explain " But sir....." " Silence.! " shouted Graz, " You incompetent fools!! " " You not only failed to do what I assigned but also lost 12 of my f##king men.! " Shivering, the bandit stopped speaking and averted his eyes. Without warning, the ghostly figure reappeared only to turn and flee, though confused, having long decided to religiously follow this figure, Avlon copied it.Using his aura to propel himself, he took out some salvaged medicine paste and tried to smear it across some of his wounds. The effort proved futile, however, as he was not only sprinting at full speed, while thoroughly exhausted, but covered in old and new injuries.Graz, still standing in his original position, was slightly surprised when he saw Avlon fleeing. 'It is only natural' he thought, 'He couldn't have been much older than 14 and was heavily injured. Fleeing was the only thing he could, do especially when I showed up.' Graz thought to himself with a smug smile. Without warning, a sudden overwhelming pressure engulfed the area, causing thin cracks to appear in the space around them. Sensing the change, Graz's expression soured as he hurried to a safe place. Most of the surrounding bandits were confused and slow to react some of the more experienced ones had moved as soon as Graz did. Casting his eyes behind him, Avlon took in the sight of the dust and earth flung about by a large explosion.
