Ophelia blinked her eyes and was momentarily in a daze about what to do with Kiara's unexpected statement.
"Fiancé?" she asked in confusion.
Kiara nodded her head. "It was a big rumor back then that some kind of princess from another kingdom was going to visit Bosom Kingdom for her engagement with Leonard, but after so many years it didn't happen, and everyone brushed it off as a mere rumor. But somehow, I just happened to find out that the rumor turned out to be true," she said as she tilted her head to the side as if reminiscing about the past.
"Is that so?" Ophelia simply replied.
She didn't know what to feel about hearing about the past of her own lover from another person's mouth. She can't help but have some kind of doubt inside her that Kiara is only spouting nonsense and all of this has a purpose for her own scheme.
After all, why would someone she just met share such a lot of information about her lover?
