Leonard gazed up at Ophelia, a sheepish expression crept across his features, his cheeks tinted with a faint blush.
He cleared his throat nervously, his eyes darting away for a moment before meeting hers once more.
"Um, Ophelia," he began, his voice tentative yet hopeful. "I know it's still broad daylight, but... do you think, maybe, I could... um... sleep in your room tonight?"
Ophelia couldn't help but laugh at Leonard's request, finding his bashful demeanor utterly charming. She shook her head incredulously, a playful smile dancing on her lips.
"Leonard, dear, it's barely afternoon," she teased, her voice laced with amusement. "I think it might be a tad too early for bedtime, don't you think?"
Leonard's cheeks flushed even deeper at Ophelia's teasing response, embarrassment evident in his expression.
He scratched the back of his neck awkwardly, a sheepish grin spreading across his face.
