In the past few days, Ophelia has been living like normal. She went to her office and did her daily documentation tasks. However, she also squeezed in a little of her time observing the lover of Emily's late mother.
She was beside the man when she went to visit Emily, and once he walked in and saw Emily on the other side of the glass wall, he immediately broke down in tears.
He clearly understands the gravity of the situation.
He stayed there the majority of his time in the manor, watching as Emily was attended by the physician. Other than eating, following a checkup on his wounds, and sleeping, he was always there to offer support and comfort to Emily during her recovery, despite Emily not being aware of his presence.
