He resisted the urge to clamp down on his ears for fear of his eardrums bursting into thousands of pieces.

She didn't look very different than before but there was certainly an air of experience about her now. She looked mature.
Since Fuller was gone and he went on a trip, Lilia had no choice but to adapt to being alone by herself. Well, not technically alone but he had no doubt that she fell that way about it inwardly.
Her dark hair bobbed around him slowly, until finally, she calmed down.
"Eh, where's Belat and Sitri too? I heard she went with you,"
"Ah, little brother is somewhere getting stronger right now. He asked me to leave him alone so I can't exactly ignore his wishes. He's no longer a little pup, you know."
"That makes sense," she nodded, "What about Sitri?"
"Sitri is back here. I reckon you should see her sooner or later."
