Amari glared at the old man. He had grown enough spine that he wouldn't freeze in his tracks or hesitate while facing these types of people, but that didn't mean he could run his mouth carelessly.
"Before I answer that," he said, "I have questions that can not wait."
The old man's eyes constricted, and after a second he sighed.
"You do know I could kill you with a single finger, right? You should mind your words when talking to me."
Of course, he knew that. In fact, he knew more clearly especially now. The difference between him and Aegar wasn't just a simple river. It was a chasm, a canyon.
