"We didn't get a lot of information from them," Ned hummed as they galloped forward.
Amari couldn't help but look at the good-natured mercenary in a different light. He was brutal.
"I say the opposite. That's all the information I need to make this plan work. We have about a thousand low-rank bandits, most of them just Observer and Apprentices or Squires. Then the higher-ups are all Acolytes." he said.
"They also mentioned rumours about another Journeyman (Knight rank in knight terms) stepping in for the leader. And all the information on the leader points towards him being at least a Great Mage or a Great Knight."
"Yeah, but that was common information." Ned sighed. "I knew that much already. I wanted to dig in deeper. Weaknesses, strengths, soft spots. All those little but important things,"
Amari thought for a second before answering.
