A few days later, Amari was packed up and ready to get back on his trip. There were several things he needed to do first. The most important thing is to say goodbye to Zaya.
He hadn't spent a lot of time with her, but she taught him so much in that brief time that he'd been here. It was perhaps the shortest one week of his entire life. In a way, he wanted to spend the rest of his life just relaxing in this hut, but there was still so much he had not done yet.
"Make sure you come back with that little brother of yours." Zaya said, "I really need to meet him and explain some things to him."
Amari nodded. He knew which things she was talking about, but it was better he didn't bring it up.
"Yeah, I'll do that. Make sure to stay alive and not scare those poor hunters again."
She chuckled a little. "I'll only be able to do one of those things."
