"So, how is this supposed to help me again?" Amari asked, uncertain as he dangled between life and death.
Zaya rolled her eyes, maintaining the steady stream of mana outside her body. Amari stood several metres away from her, looking in doubt at the approaching mana. The last time she released Mana, she almost froze him to death.
And she wasn't even doing it intentionally!
They stood outside her little hut, which was much bigger on the inside than it looked on the outside.
"Of course. The key to proper mana manipulation is a mixture of the things Felaud taught and hard work. You have one of those, it's time for the other."
Amari resisted the urge to groan as he heard that.
"Stop being such a wuss, Raion!" she yelled once, and the mana shot out.
It froze a patch of his skin before he even had the chance to react. A cold-hot sensation spread through his arm as the mana hit.
"Fuuuuuuck!"
