After a while of narrating all the years he'd spent with Reida and Felaud, Amari was finally able to get the answer. While he needed the answers urgently, it didn't matter right now. Who knew talking about his family would be so therapeutic?
"I'm sorry for making you talk so much," Zaya said.
He smiled. "It's fine. I've missed them. If anything, I'm sorry for talking so much."
"Don't be like that," she said. "I get the feeling."
Amari paused and looked at the savage blonde-haired woman. Something in him told him she'd gone through something like that.
"But let me stop wasting your time, Raion." Zaya finally said, "Do you want to know the good news or bad news first?"
"Bad," he replied without hesitation.
The bad news would allow him to formulate his next movements accordingly. Good news wouldn't do any good for him right now, especially since he already knew something bad happened.
