"Incredible!" Jyn yelled.
The brown-haired demon had the most unexpected reaction to two of his men dying, and Amari didn't know what to say about that.
"I don't want to resort to violence. Join us and I shall let you live." Jyn said, clasping three of his fingers in what seemed to be a religious gesture.
Amari furrowed his brows. The man seemed too confident for it to be empty words. What was he planning?
"We can beat you," he later replied, unbothered.
"You resist?"
The question was odd, but the answer would determine their states in the next few minutes. Amari knew what he was going to say from the start. He looked the demon dead in the eyes for the last time, then gave Belat a signatory glance.
"I resist."
Jyn shook his head and released his fingers. "Very well then. May the Keeper of the Graveyard welcome your brave soul easily."
Amari froze at the mention of the God of Death's epithet.
