"It's nothing" Said Finn, "I just had a little trouble with some customers, I thought you would be with Aaron for the rest of the afternoon."
"It was Orland" I replied angrily, "you don't have to lie to me."
"I'll be fine, you don't have to worry" Finn replied.
"Was it the same when you got kicked out of the club?" I asked.
Finn averted his gaze.
I was angry, it was a warning sign, Finn had been messed with, next would be Aaron, I wouldn't know the time or day, but any day could happen.
I shook my head. My eyes were watery with frustration, I had promised Aaron I wouldn't do anything crazy, but I couldn't keep holding back, not when I knew Orland wouldn't stop.
"Don't do anything" Glen said, "I'll handle it."
My eyes flickered at the disbelief of his words, what could Glen do? He was a short guy who wore glasses and was in the business of renting apartments. My old buddies would take care of him like a sack of potatoes.
