Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 Why do we feel anger?

continuing to run around the school with tears in his eyes Kennet managed to reach the exit and stopped for a second on the main stairway in front of the entrance to think "why...why does this happen to me...I don't want it to happen ...and it happens anyway... why why WHY!" the boy continuing with the same thoughts kept crying feeling different from everyone but after a few minutes of uncontrollable crying he hears a voice that paralyzes him. "here he is the one who did me like this" everyone turned to Kennet as he slowly turning his head finds Cirse standing with five other boys older than him at her side "what did you tell me, I would regret to be born? well I think the only regret here will be you, boys" as soon as he finishes speaking the older boys take knives out of the pockets of their school clothes and approach Kennet. At the sight of the knives, the boys do not think twice about running away terrified while the older boys begin to run after them, Kennet tried to lose them but it was already a lot if he managed not to be caught up, at a certain point in the race where the boy he seemed exhausted from having run for almost the entire northern part of Tokyo he enters an alley to try to lose track of him and sees them a fairly old man who came out of a door and told him to reach him with the movement of his hand. Kennet doesn't think twice and reaches the old man who whispers "quick, in here!" the boy doesn't think twice and throws himself in the door that the old man closes immediately behind him, the older boys went straight on without suspecting anything.

Kennet out of breath looks at the old man very gratefully "t-thank you very much, if you hadn't been here you'll be finished by now" the old man was wearing a white lab coat and a little worn out by time and had long trousers blue jeans, but his appearance was particular, a thick white mane of hair that reached up to behind the shoulder blades, a rather wrinkled face with large green eyes that at this moment scuttled the boy. "just imagine, for so little Kennet Yoruci" at that moment I pass a shiver behind the boy's back "wait...how do you know my name..." the old man starts to laugh heartily "I've been watching you for a while boy" in an instant the boy's gratitude turned into fear as he looked with trembling eyes at the man in the white coat "w-what are you a maniac, look, I know how to defend myself and..." the old man without thinking twice from a bonk the boy's head looking into his eyes "but no blockhead, I was simply watching how your Enigma would have evolved!" Surprised Kennet looks at the man with different eyes "Enigma?" the boy was very surprised by this and i listen to the old man's words "oh sorry, i haven't introduced myself yet" the man in the gown continues "my name is Sakiro Midna, but you can just call me Dr. Enigma". Kennet looks at the doctor rather confused and approaches him "what are these Enigma you keep talking about?" the doctor clears his throat for a moment before answering his question "the world is evolving dear Kennet and with this also some people named Enigma, people with powers who answer questions of everyday life" the boy listens interested the words of the old man "what do you mean by questions of everyday life?" the man in the lab coat points to the boy "for example you, as soon as you feel so much anger your body changes starting to become super strong and this has happened since you are younger, your power reflects the question why do we feel anger?" the confused boy replies "and what would be the answer to the question" Sakiro scratches his head in confusion "I have no idea, I've spent my whole life studying this phenomenon but I've never had the answer, maybe you'll have to find out" Kennet looks with a serious look the old man and his face assumes a serious expression "Doctor Enigma, can you teach me to control my power?" Sakiro looks at him with a determined look answering "I'll explain everything I know about Enigmas!".
