Devon's POV: instead of getting my head on to my table full of works, my mind kept drifting to the kiss we both shared. She kissed a dragon. How dare she do that? Is she really not scared of what I might do to her? Wasn't she scared I might strangle her to death? Or worse, kill her in that spot? She was so bold. Devan is not even as bold as she is. Infact, no person has ever been bold as she is.
I took away the quill pen away from the scroll I was busy on, made a small heave, before standing up my feet.
My eyes turned to look at the perfectly lit window. It is morning already? So if I hadn't thought about the girl, I wouldn't have I known it is morning already? I sighed softly, brushed my fingers into my hair in frustration.
"Oh, Devon."
Someone knocked on my door, that I have to grumble a 'come in'. Three maids in white walked in with their heads bowed..
"Good morning Great General?" They said in unison.
"What?!" I voice came out coldly.
