Chapter 141 - Chapter 140

[Chthon POV]

She killed his chosen one. She killed her disciple without a trace of remorse to be seen. She was slowly losing her emotions in this accursed world. The flame that once burned with blazing heat now seems to be cold even though it remain as hot as ever.

That was normal. After all, one simply does not exist inside the domain of death in the end of time without consequences. It cannot be denied that the environment played a role. But she herself was also slowly becoming her future self.

Yes, this was good. It was the best news he had ever heard since he started existing. The keeper of fire becoming an emotionless being? A husk of what makes something a human being. She was getting closer to the perfect being that is her future self.

He is known as Chthon, the first master of black magic on Earth. One of the Elder gods of Earth dealing with anything demonic. Creating the darkhold and foretelling the arrival of the Scarlet Witch, he prophesied her inevitable arrival.

Chthon the pinnacle of black magic, chthon the Elder god, Chthon the god who descended into demonhood, born of Demiurge Primordial shortly after the formation of Earth, they were the first lifeforms to ever exist on the surface of planet Earth.

Earth is not just a single planet among the countless, nameless irrelevant planets that exist in the Universe. It is a pivotal point of fate, destined to be important no matter the state of the universe. Favoured by 'them', and other higher beings, it is special.

Such place is not created as lightly as other planets. There were two main factors that were involved in the creation of the pivotal planet of fate. The Progenitor and Demiurge Primordial. The Demiurge created the gods and the Progenitor gave it the various extraordinary characteristics.

It is said that before the formation of the multiverse, there existed one sole original universe. Before all recorded time, before there was anything, the dawn of everything that is or was, the first firmament, the original universe known as the First Cosmos.

In there were two main races. The Celestials and the Aspirants. The Aspirants were the natural servants of the First Cosmos while the Celestials were something a little different. They wanted change. This singular supreme universe was too small to house such god-like beings in a single cage.

The Celestials are well-known as they roam as freely as they ever did. Giant beings with heads that resembles lamps. Still humanoid and were thus, observable and describable. They even come with multiple colours. With technology as their main force, they could still be comprehended by both mortals and immortals alike.

The Aspirants however are a little different. They cannot be described. They were one of the first beings created by the first firmament to appease his lonely existence. They were industrious in their worship of him and sought his approval whenever they created life on their own.

Unlike their dark counterparts, the multicolored Celestials wanted their creations to evolve and for the universe to evolve with them, and thus know growth, change, and mortality. This divergence of ideas ushered in a Celestial War for the dominion of all existence.

How rare for the Celestials to be the 'hero'.....

During the Celestial War, the Celestials detonated their unimaginable weapons against the Aspirants, shattering the First Firmament into pieces. The hundreds of new universes born from those pieces coalesced into the first Multiverse and its personification.

The Celestials had become the sole owner of the multiverse. The ultimate ruler of all just below Abstract entities that came later like Eternity or the Creator itself, they reigned uncontested free to perform their "experiments".

That would have been the case if it weren't for this thing called consequences. The Celestial War was not without consequences. They gave birth to new dangers and many other species. One such species was the Horde.

Not even the uncontested Celestials could find ways to eradicate the horde and many became infected with them. To become infected by the horde is to die a sad and painful death. One such celestial from the first cosmos that became infected was known as the Progenitor and he happened to find a newly found planet as his final grave. It was Earth.

Why has this one particular, otherwise unremarkable world always been such a hotbed for super-powered madness? Why is the Earth so uniquely eccentric within the near-infinite number of planets strewn across the heavens? Why indeed?

Not because of any grand purpose, it was because of that bubbling, black puddle of Celestial regurgitation and the monstrous things that would come slithering out of it. And what were these monstrous things?

Captain America, Spider Man, Sandman, Hulk, all those unremarkable so called 'heroes' and 'villains'. They will have to give gratitude to someone. That was the Progenitor. The origin of Earth. The Progenitor, the god who died so Earth may live.

Before the progenitor truly passed, he left a bio-sphere on Earth giving birth to life itself. The bio-sphere of Earth. It gained sentience. The sentient life force of Earth's biosphere who seeded the primal Earth with its own life energies, giving birth to the Elder Gods.

There were Demiurges before, in realities that were and now are not, and there is a Demiurge-To-Come, who lives among the living and awaits his time. But this was Demiurge Primordial, the Godcreator, whose name and knowledge cannot be known--who existed in the primal time, when the Earth was in formation.

With eyes that burned with ineffable will, this creator gazed upon the creation...the boiling seas of possibility...and brought forth aspects of itself. Brought forth Gods. The Elder Gods. There were another civil wars and few survived the culling of Atum Ra, an elder god who became Demogorge, the God Eater.

He only survived due to fleeing from the mad God but was no longer allowed to return by other Elder Gods like Gaea and Oshtur. The Creator also known as One Above All, created the first firmament. The first firmament created the Celestials. One such celestial created Demiurge Primordial and he was born of Demiurge Primordial.

Just four lineages from the ultimate creator himself, he was aware of many things. It all changed when these two worlds merged with the original one out of nowhere. He bfelt as if he was clueless as a baby but that did not change his purpose. Chaos.

During his journey of fleeing from the mad God, he came across one thing. It was Chaos. Unwanted things tossed aside by the Creator. Something of great power yet still beneath the Creator not yet worthy of its complete attention.

It was beautiful. It was great. It was pure perfection right before his sight when he saw it. He saw Chaos. He heard the sound of Chaos. He smelled the intoxicating scent of Chaos. He tasted the irresistible lure of Chaos. He felt the indescribable touch of Chaos.

Most would describe him as being corrupted by Chaos but he knew he was not He was blessed by Chaos. He claimed to be the Lord of Chaos but he was merely a servant to it.

There are other entities and branches of Chaos like Lord Chaos, Kaos. This was only natural when faced with such great power. With the addition of the dark of men from one world and the old blood from another world, Chaos grew and gave birth to new powers like Khorne, Nurgle and more.

Originally, his purpose was to corrupt to Earth as it was the most pivotal point of everything. He inscribed his knowledge in the Darkhold intending to return to that fated place one day. Now that Chaos has grew, Earth is no longer a necessity.

The three pillars of Creation in this accursed, combined world. The One above all, also known as the Creator, that created the physical world and other lifeforms. The Old Ones who took charge of nightmares, dreams and the metaphysical world after coming forth. The First Flame that sustain all life and allows it to further thrive.

Once one falls, the rest quickly follows. The First Flame was special in a sense that it was humanoid, and appeared less powerful and thus more 'corruptible'. He did not know what the Painter wants and he did not care as long as it does not hinder his goals.

He had succeeded once after all and corrupted her bringing everything to Chaos but at the verge of greatness, she regained consciousness, creating these so-called "trials". A fully bloomed flame was far from what he could contest against and was forced to participate.

But it does not hinder his goals. Since he could no longer corrupt the future flame, he shall corrupt the younger flame. That is why he did not interfere. To fill a bowl, one must empty the bowl filled with other unwanted things. He has succeeded in emptying the bowl by making her kill his chosen one. A small sacrifice.

The fire could no longer contain the Chaos that is the dark of men and the Old blood. His success grew ever nearer and nearer. Once the first flame falls to Chaos, the rest shall follow.

The 'corrupted' first flame shall burn the two other pillars and incinerate all the divides and distinguishes.

The physical shall no longer share borders with the non-physical. The boundaries that divide the Creator and the Old Ones shall be burned making them clash. All shall descend into Chaos.

Ahh.... may Choas take the world!

May Chaos take the world!

This is Chapter 140.

A short mention of Warhammer and found an opportunity to put the dialogue of Elden Ring. Both are irrelevant in my story and don't get your hopes high as I won't be putting them. Consider them a short cameo like Skyrim.

A bit complicated but tell me what you all think.
