When one thinks of Kama Taj, one cannot help but think of the Ancient One. As far as she remembered about the Ancient One, she knew that the Ancient One longed for death, much like the undead the roam the world of Lordran.
She had cleared her corruption and restored her humanity, but she did not know what she thinks of death or whether she still longed for it. She supposes an easy way to find out would be to go to Kama Taj.
But currently she has no reason to go knocking on the door of the sorcerer supreme. But what she was sure to do while she stayed on Earth was to go check out the Abyss. The Abyss was directly related to her homeland, and she would not miss any new about it.
"My dear Fury, can thou take me to see the Abyss? I wish to check it out personally."
"Of course, that's why I came here to see you right away."
Just then a Heli carrier came in at that moment. He gestured for them to get on. But would she really get on? She never forgot the fact that Fury was an agent. Leaving the king of spies with a spaceship from outer space was never a good idea.
"It is fine, Fury. We have our own ship to get on. Just show us the coordinates."
He stepped out looking at every single one of them. Despite the fact that anyone here could have a large chance of killing him on the spot, she sensed no fear. Only caution. A witty person indeed.
"That won't do, Ms. Keeper. I don't know what or how you do in space, but this is Earth, and you shall follow Earth's rules. No sane person would feel safe knowing that a spaceship is flying around the world."
"What they feel is none of my concern, my dear Fury. I advise thee to mind thy words. Besides I know better than to leave it with thee. Besides, what shall thee do to stop me. What can thee do?"
The surroundings temperature started heating up. The tension was so thick you could cut with a knife. Fury looked at them like he was considering something. She did not feel him intimidated. That was near impossible unless he had full confidence in his power or if he had a backing.
From the looks of it, he should have the support of someone. Someone powerful enough for him to clash heads with her. She only followed Fury's arrangements due to the fact that it was a brand-new world with no place for her.
Even now, the only place she had was the one she carved out herself. She found a place to call home in Asgard by slaying their princess. A crew to call her own by slaying a living planet. Disciples to call her own by teaching them. And the ship ... wasn't hers but it might as well be her second home.
She continued staring at Fury waiting for his answer. It was not her that was looking at Fury. Her entire crew and his followers were all looking at her. One answer from him would determine the future relationship between SHIELD and the firekeeper.
"Okay then, if you want to go by yourself, let it be. We cannot help any more than giving you the location so, I hope you take care."
He walked back into the car as Coulson handed some documents to her and left as well. What a pity. She quite liked Phil Coulson and his Lola. She did not know if she lost a dear friend. Luckily, Fury relented but he would not be providing any further assistance.
"So, where is it?", asked Quill.
She checked the documents Fury left with her. The Abyss would definitely be located in the deepest place of the Earth. Or it might just simply be on the surface. No one could tell exactly.
"We shall be travelling to the country called China where the world's deepest sinkhole is located."
"China?", asked Wanda. She looked interested in the country.
"Yes, the world's deepest sinkhole, Xiaozhai Tiankeng also known as Xiaozhai heavenly pit. I suppose it makes sense considering the Abyss is located in the deepest sinkhole on Earth."
She then gave the documents to Quill for him to follow along. He checked it out for a bit.
"Yeah, I could work with that. It'll take like what? One hour?" Having a spaceship sure was convenient. The only reason it even took an hour is because the ship could not go at full speed. If it did, it would ruin the environment on Earth.
One hour wasn't that long of a time. Everybody prepared themselves to face whatever was coming up. But slowly, they reached the deepest sinkhole on Earth. She could see the very small traces of the Abyss from the sinkhole.
She frowned at it. The Abyss did not come piece by piece. It was an illusion.
"Teacher, there is an illusion covering this place.", Loki reminded her.
She waved her hands to dispel the illusion when a man appeared from a golden portal. He wore dark blue clothes with a flying red cape. He held the aura of the Ancient One. And most importantly, she could sense the time stone on his chest dangling down as a necklace.
"Whatever you are here for, get out immediately. Final warning." He said as he conjured golden shields from his hands. She recognized that spell. The Shield of Seraphim.
"Calm thyself, we come here in peace. I am looking for the Ancient One."
"The Ancient One? Unfournately, she is no longer here. I am the new sorcerer supreme."
"Oh ... Then we just simply wish to see the Abyss."
"The Abyss, so that's what you call it. You know what this is?"
"I do."
"Your name?"
"Thou may address me as Keeper."
"The firekeeper, teacher mentioned you before she died and to ask you for help whenever I need it."
"Would thou allow me to help thee."
"Yes", he said as he dispelled the illusion by himself. Looking over there, she could see the various mages of Kama taj maintaing a formation in groups.
Of course, merely, trying to restrict the Abyss was not stopping the creatures there from coming out. She could see other groups. Three other groups in fact.
One was wearing symbols of what seems to depicit a dragon with wings. She looked at the words written on their flags. It was written in Chinese, and it says K'un Lun. They were warriors that were fighting with their bare fists. They were as hard as steel from what she could tell. They reminded her of barbarians.
Among them, one person stood out. He looked out of place among the Chinese people if she were to be honest. His fists were also glowing. He decimated any monster unfournate enough to come near him.
There was another group. They too held the symbol of the dragon, but it held no wings. They fought with martial arts similar to K'un Lun. However, they all wielded weapons.
Sticks, halberds, arrows, they used all. What was special among them was that there were several beasts she could not recognize fighting alongside them.
However, their martial art was different from the hard way of K'un Len. In a way, they were 'soft'. The way they fought gracefully reminded her of druids.
One woman stood out from the rest. She wore a green hat and a green mask made out of bamboo. She however, used her bare hands as well. They did not glow in anyway, however. What stood out from her was the way she flew around the battlefield like a fairy.
She could also read the words on them. It said Ta Lo in Chinese.
One group stood out from all. They were the only ones wielding advanced technology. She could tell that it was this group that allows the mages of Kama Taj to fight day and night without rest.
They used guns and other advanced weapons. As a group they dealt the least damage. Their significance lies in logistics and support from what she saw. They healed all injured warriors to send them out. They brought food to eat and water to drink.
They built beds to rest and clothes to wear. They gave weapons to fight and paths to retreat. She could also see their flag. There were no words. However, it showed ten rings surrounding two blades.
What they lack for in group attacks, one individual made up for it all. He was fighting ruthlessly crushing anything foolish enough to challenge him. Ten blue bracelets that were on his arms were unstoppable. He did not defend for all he had to do was attack.
The new sorcerer supreme was the one holding the Abyss back by not allowing it to spread further. They were doing good but soon it will not be enough.

This is Chapter 83.
I combined Kama Taj, Kun Lun, Ta Lo and the ten rings to fight against the Abyss. What do you think of it?
