Chapter 41 - Chapter 40

They stayed in that position till the sun sets. It was reminiscent of her home world. She would usually wait for months for the Ashen One to come by. Having a little one of her doesn't seems so bad.

During that time, she told Wanda of tales from her home world. She has yet to hear the story of her home world. She would randomly give some comments in the middle of her tales and marvel at some of those.

"Little one, I have more things to address thee. I will soon be going away from Asgard. I will now traverse the boundless space that exists. Doth thee wish to return back to Earth and reunite with thy brother or doth thou wish to follow me."

She went silent at this. She supposed that her disciple was thinking about whether to go home or not. She will accept whatever answer her disciple gives her.

"Thou needn't think about it immediately. Thou can give thy answer in the morning. Remember that thou hath no more need of worrying for thy powers."

"Teacher, can I sleep with you tonight?", her disciple blurted out. Then, she went red but still did not say anything. It may be due to the fact that she might go back the next day and wishes to spent one final night with her.

"Of course, my dear girl. Thou may spend the night with me if thee wishes for it. Now, let us retreat back to the palace of gods."

She was still as red as a tomato. Perhaps because her only disciple was embarrassed to sleep with her parent-like person at this age. From what she knew, her parents had died due to missiles from Stark. She does not mind giving comfort to a lonely orphan.

"Wanda, my dear girl, go ahead and I shall follow behind. There are some things the king of Asgard wishes to address me."

"Can I follow? It's a bit boring at Asgard without you."

"Do as thou see fit."

And so, both of them went onto meet Odin in the throne room. Odin was still there in full attire with his spear. She wonders if Odin sat there the entire day waiting for something interesting to happen.

"So, she succeeded in resisting Chthon.", said Odin as rested as his eyes on Wanda.

"Indeed, he will no longer be a problem. But I am not here to discuss about my disciple. I am here to discuss about thee lifespan. Art thou ready to fade away?"

"Fade away? No, for I shall merely move into Valhalla where my queen awaits. Every honorable Asgardians are reborn in Valhalla and in there I shall enjoy my eternal retirement and feast in the glory of Asgard."

"What about the people of this land?"

"They will manage fine with my son watching over them."

"Thou doth realize that Thor is much too weak to fight against the enemies that thou once made."

"I do and this is why I called you over. I have another favor to ask."

"I hope that it is not to train Thor into a worthy king."

"Unfournately, it is. Thor is still too reliant on his hammer. I must make him realize this. But he is too attached to his hammer. I wish for you to take him along on your way out. I do not mind if you accept him as your disciple."

"My dear Odin, I cannot accept thy son as mine disciple for nothing. He is much older than me and he is the future king of Asgard. I do not wish to be bound to one place."

"Rest assure for this will never happen. If you accept him as your disciple, you shall be the national teacher of Asgard. You can choose to stay in Asgard or not. But, even if you don't regard Asgard as your home, it will always be a place to return to. Asgard will be your domain. I can guarantee the dragons within you to roam freely among the nine realms with the exception of Earth without being bound to a single soul."

"I will give thee back an answer in the morning sun tomorrow. For now, I will take my leave. Come, little one, let us retreat." She said as she gestured for her little one to come. She followed along. They left the throne hall as Odin was left sitting on his throne stained with the blood of worlds.

She wondered if she should accept Thor as her disciple. There was not much she could teach him. The only thing she could help with was letting him find his own power but that is something that will come with time. Time she was not sure Thor would have.

Perhaps, she could teach him how to rule better or use his brain some more but there was already Loki for that case. Although she did not think Loki to be good ruler, it cannot be denied that he has some form of wisdom compared to his brother.

She has already seen what a bad Lord could mean to the people. An entire world has been destroyed due to bad leadership. She did not know what the consequences would have been for the nine realms. Thor was an excellent warrior, but he holds little aptitude for being a king as of now. Being a good warrior does not mean becoming a good king.

She pushed aside her thoughts for Thor as she now wanted to focus on her only disciple at this moment. Wanda looked as if she had no opinion on whether Thor becomes fellow disciples with her or not. She did not mind from the looks of it.

She lied down on her bed as she motioned for Wanda to come beside her. She followed without even looking at her. They both went under covers as they slept and wait for the tomorrow to come. They did some talk that night with Wanda expressing an emotion called jealousy.

The next morning, they met Odin one final time before embarking on their journey. It is the time and place to decide their decisions. Wanda would express whether she wanted to stay or go while she would express whether she would take Thor as her new disciple.

This is Chapter 40.

Anyway, I think Thor becoming a disciple is a good choice as nobody seems to have ever done the same thing. What do you think about it?

Do you think I should send Wanda back or let her follow along?
