They went on silent on the spot and ran off to put their suits and to check the surrounding areas. She teleported to area where the intruder would be coming.
The hostile force came in the form of a quinjet. It fired missiles straight at her. She did not choose the block them. She attacked them in the form of small fireballs that detonated them in advance. Not a single harm came to the helicarrier.
She then formed flame tendrils out of her sleeves. They warped around the jet and forced it to stop. Of course, the quinjet tried to get away but the speed of the tendrils was simply too fast.
She then generated poison from the flame tendrils. This knocks the crew unconscious. Poison normally didn't go through metal, but it appears that the material used the built the quinjet could not stop poison generated with the arcane arts.
She gently landed the vehicle on the quinjet after destroying its system. She took out the crew one by one and remove all forms of mind-altering magic from them.
Just then, another explosion sounded. It seems that Barton had another one. After teleporting the men into the infirmary, she saw Nat running from something. There was green beast chasing behind her.
It was smashing everything it could. She teleported right in front of it and held his head with one hand. "Rest", she uttered as the beast fainted on the spot.
The reason she could do this was due to the blood of the Dark Soul that he held within him. She absorbed the blood and took it away from him.
The beast eventually reverted back into the form of the good doctor. As time pass on, the doctor may grow weaker, but he will have more and more control over his actions. His other personality known as the Hulk was still there and he still appears to be angry.
She could understand it. After all, who wouldn't be angry when they were locked in their own mindscape. She also sensed the this 'child-like' personality would be with the good doctor whether the of blood of the dark soul was present or not.
The way she sees it, their fates appeared to be intertwined. This 'curse' will continue to haunt the doctor unless he changes his ways and find a way to unite the two different personalities.
"You're late", said Nat as she sighed a breath of relief. She let out a tendril of flame to heal both the doctor and the widow.
The widow her physical state and the doctor his spiritual state. Just then, Thor barges in. "Where's the enemy?", he looked around suspiciously.
"Gone", said the widow. Just then, the widow appears to be listening something from her listening device.
"Can you teleport me?", she asked looking at her.
"Where is thy destination?", she asked her.
"The control center"
The firekeeper merely held her shoulder and both disappeared in a ball of flame. Thor however, did not followed them and went to Loki's cell.
Once they arrive, she could sense some wounded people. She immediately made a bonfire in her hands and healed them all. Not a single person had died.
Natasha headed off to confront Barton. "I don't suppose you can heal this thing?", Fury asked sounding hopeful.
She merely shook her head as her flames only heal the living. "I shall head over to check on Loki", she replied while disappearing in a ball of flame once again. Once she arrived at the cell however, the cell was gone.
Neither Loki nor Thor was nowhere to be found. The only person she found was a dying Phil Coulson.
He appears to be on the verge of death. She produces a very bright ball of flame and compressed it into the unconscious man. He was one of her friends when she had come here.
Phil Coulson was an optimistic man. He had been with her in every endeavor she has had in this new world.
He was there when she learned the literature and history of this land.
He was there when she had first gotten acquainted with the form of currency on this land.
'Lola' was the first car that she had ever ridden.
"Death is equitable, accepting. We will all, one day, be welcomed by Her Embrace. May the day you get embraced by death postpone just a little longer my dear friend.", she said to his unconscious body and teleported him into the infirmary as well.
Just then, the vehicle begun to descent. Everyone started panicking but she teleported once again to the failing engine. She saw Stark spinning rapidly in the engine. But, he managed to regain his composure once again.
It would have been somewhat comical if it weren't for the situation. He came out looking embarrassed. She threw a ball of fire to heal him once again.
"Thanks Ms. Keeper.", he nodded in acknowledgement before flying off. She watched him from below as he left.
They were all so very polite to her. She was unused to this. People do not thank someone for doing their jobs. After all, she was but a simple firekeeper.
She saw many people try their best to keep this fortress afloat. She witnesses many heroic deeds. This made her happy. After all, the firekeeper always existed to serve these individuals. She will always be by their sides to abide their needs.
The captain always started to walk away after giving her his sincere gratitude. Of course, she allowed him to walk away only after healing his wounds and restoring his stamina. She then went on to make sure there were no causalities in the flying fortress. Every last man and woman were healed.
They gathered once again in the deck this time. Alongside them was Coulson and an unconscious Barton. The captain and Stark have appeared to settle their differences. Despite keeping some secrets, it appears that Fury was an excellent commander.
She healed Barton from his altered mind. He woke up on the spot. It seems that he had a strong mind. He appeared confused at first and started clutching his head. It seems that the arcane of the mind had taken more toll on him due to him resisting it. She touched his head and out him to sleep instantly. Sometimes, sleep works better than any form of magic.
