A corked bottle of murky green blood sloshed as Rizz retrieved his largest mortar and pestle. It crudely dribbled out of the bottle under Rizz's annoyed gaze.
*I can't wait to work with the good stuff again…*
That irksome longing swelled through the goblin's entire being. Empowered more as Rizz re-corked the half-empty blood bottle, and reaffirmed as Rizz added equal parts water.
Mixing the crude brew was easy enough. Adding a few dashes of dried sage helped out as well.
After peaking at the crucible in the furnace, Rizz poured in a few more dribbles of the uncommon-grade beast blood.
*And they said this shit was the best in town…* Rizz mentally grumbled.
Once the texture was to Rizz's liking, he poured some into a separate jar. The last thing Rizz wanted to do was overdilute his precious goose blood with that inferior, slapdash solvent.
