After a week.
"Finally, I've reached the Nascent Profound Realm," murmured Yu Tian. After finishing the affairs of the Li Family, which had now become the Yu Family, he isolated himself in his room for three continuous days until he reached the Nascent Profound Realm.
"Now, it's time to go to school," muttered Yu Tian. He quickly showered, put on his school uniform, and left his room to have breakfast with Huang'er and Zi Yan. Zi Yan had been living with the Yu Family for the past week and had accompanied him everywhere.
"Good morning," said Yu Tian, yawning as he sat between the two of them. Despite the Yu Family's luxurious home, they ate at a small round table, which was more than enough for two people.
"Good morning," Huang'er greeted with a happy smile. She was delighted to see her mature, dependable brother. "It looks like you've reached the Nascent Profound Realm."
"Seriously, your talent puts me under pressure. I need to spend more time training, or you'll surpass me in no time," Huang'er said with a helpless tone, feeling the pressure of having a talented brother.
"Are you still practicing martial arts?" Zi Yan asked with a frown, clearly worried. "Men shouldn't practice martial arts because it will make them infertile. Haven't I already told you this?"
Although Zi Yan didn't like her arranged engagement with Li You Wei—now known as Yu Tian—she realized over the past week that he wasn't a bad person. From her mother's reaction, it was clear she would eventually marry him. She didn't want an infertile husband.
"Don't worry; the martial arts I practice are different from the ancient ones and don't cause infertility," Yu Tian smiled gently, picking up a slice of roasted beef and putting it in his mouth. "If you want, I can teach you too. It seems your progress has been stuck for a long time at the 1st Nascent Profound Realm."
"Are you sure the martial arts you practice won't cause infertility?" Zi Yan asked, still skeptical, clearly worried that Yu Tian might be trying to deceive her.
"What? Are you so afraid your future husband will become infertile?" Yu Tian teased, ruffling Zi Yan's hair.
"I'm not worried about that!" Zi Yan's face turned slightly red, embarrassed that Yu Tian had noticed her concern. "I'm saying this because I would have to marry another man if you were infertile."
In this world, women were the heads of the family and could marry multiple people. This meant Zi Yan could marry other men alongside Yu Tian if she became the family head.
"It seems you misunderstand something. There's no way a girl would propose to me. I'm the one who will propose and bring girls into my family," Yu Tian said with a provocative smile, gently touching Zi Yan's face.
Yu Tian wasn't like those useless men in this world who were proposed to; he was a real man who would ask for a girl's hand in marriage.
"Ugh, can you two stop flirting so early in the morning?" Huang'er said, clearly annoyed. She didn't like seeing her brother and her rival flirting right in front of her so early in the day.
"No need to feel jealous, Sister," Yu Tian smiled gently, patting Huang'er's head. Since Li Yan's death, Huang'er had been very attached to him.
Over the week, the three had become a harmonious family. Their relationship grew closer due to Li Yan's death. Huang'er sought support, while Zi Yan, who was kind by nature, had become even more caring.
Poor Tang Jie hadn't expected her daughter to be so easily influenced by Yu Tian. She cared a lot about both him and Huang'er, something she hadn't planned on. To her, Yu Tian and Huang'er were merely pawns to control the Li Family, now the Yu Family.
This week, the Ye Family and Tang Family had stopped attacking Yu Family businesses. They began fighting each other instead, ignoring the Yu Family's existence.
[A/N: From now on, the Li Family will be referred to as the Yu Family.]
After breakfast, Yu Tian's driving license was ready. His Bugatti La Voiture Noire was also in the garage. He drove it to drop Huang'er at her school before heading to Jingmen Secondary School with Zi Yan beside him. This week, Chu Qing was supposed to be reborn.
"That smile..." Zi Yan said helplessly, noticing Yu Tian's expression. She had seen it often in the past week while accompanying him to handle Yu Family affairs. "You're definitely planning something bad."
Zi Yan shook her head in resignation. Her fiancé was unlike other boys and men—he wasn't shy, gentle, or reserved. He resembled the tyrant demon kings in online novels.
She had to admit this was extremely attractive, combined with his handsome face. She couldn't wait to see what mischief he was planning.
"Zi Yan, don't try to ruin my reputation. I'm gentle and considerate. There's no way I'd do anything bad," Yu Tian said with a falsely aggrieved voice, though the wicked smile on his face widened as he thought about how to mess with Chu Qing.
"This man..." Zi Yan could only shake her head, powerless. Despite his words, he didn't bother hiding his smile or actions, making it hard to believe him no matter how innocent his voice sounded.
