Chapter 111 - Chapter 111 : Nine Yin Dew Crystals ll

The Black Wind Mountains.

"We're seriously so lucky," said a middle-aged man with a muscular body, his face and body covered in terrifying scars. "I didn't expect we'd find a treasure like the Nine Yin Dew Crystals when we decided to move our base to escape the city's soldiers who were trying to kill us."

"That's right, but all the credit goes to the Young Boss," said another man with a smile. "Ever since the Young Boss took over, luck has been smiling on us, the Toad Village."

These people were bandits active near the Black Wind Mountain, relying on stealing from others to survive. However, recently, the nearby cities around the Black Wind Mountain gathered their forces and began hunting the bandits. This forced the people from Toad Village to flee into the Black Wind Mountains to save their lives, and their new boss had found traces of the birth of the Nine Yin Dew Crystals.

The new boss's name was Cheng Da Lei, and although he had been useless garbage until recently, after his father, the former boss, suddenly died, Cheng Da Lei changed and became stronger out of nowhere. He even knew martial arts, which caused the previously weakest Toad Village to expand, and they soon became one of the strongest in the region. They had quickly stolen from many people, improving their living conditions significantly. Unfortunately, due to their repeated thefts, they angered many merchants and politicians, leading to a campaign to get rid of the bandits near Black Wind Mountain.

"I envy the Young Boss," said the scar-faced bandit, full of envy. "Not only is he strong and skilled in martial arts, but he also got Miss Xian Zhu to serve him in bed."

Miss Xian Zhu, mentioned by the scarred man, was a woman they had kidnapped from a trade caravan they attacked before fleeing to the Black Wind Mountains. Although she was just an ordinary girl, she was extremely beautiful in the eyes of bandits who were used to seeing rough men every day.

"Well, the Young Boss is strong and very handsome, so of course, Miss Xian Zhu would choose to serve him instead of a group of savage men like us," said the other bandit realistically. Unlike his friend, he didn't have high hopes of getting a beautiful woman to serve him, and he was satisfied with just killing others and taking their money and food.

"Oh my, why am I stuck with a brute who only cares about fighting?" muttered the scar-faced bandit with regret, clearly tired of his friend, who thought only of blood every day.

"Xi Xang, look at the sky!" said the other bandit urgently, staring up at the sky cautiously. He had seen the shadow of something huge in the sky but couldn't make it out clearly because it was so high up.

"What is it? Are women falling from the sky now?" said the scar-faced man sarcastically, looking up at the sky where his friend pointed, only to fall on his rear in shock at what he saw.

"What is that thing?!" screamed the scarred bandit in horror, staring at the purple shadow in the sky. It was clear this shadow belonged to a flying monster, not just an ordinary bird.

"What are you doing?! Let's go quickly!" shouted the other bandit, not hesitating to grab the collar of his scarred friend and run in a certain direction.

"Where are we going?" asked the scar-faced bandit in terror, trying to hold himself together so he wouldn't wet his pants from the terrifying sight he had just seen.

"We're going to tell the Young Boss," said the other bandit as he ran as fast as he could. Even though he wasn't a martial artist, he knew a little about martial arts, allowing him to carry his friend, who weighed about 80 kg, with ease while running. "The Young Boss must have a way to deal with that monster."

"That's impossible! Even the Young Boss can't face that damn monster!" said the scar-faced bandit, his face pale as the sight of the Purple Lightning Hawk was a huge shock to him.

"Even if it's impossible for the Young Boss to defeat that flying monster, running away with him is better than running away on our own," said the other bandit. He didn't really believe that Cheng Da Lei had the ability to deal with the flying monster, but if they fled with him, they'd have a better chance of getting out of the Black Wind Mountains alive, as the mountain was full of monsters, though none as powerful as the Purple Lightning Hawk.

"That's true," said the scarred bandit. Hearing his friend's words, he nodded and didn't hesitate to free himself from his friend's grip. He rushed towards Cheng Da Lei's tent at great speed, even managing to outrun his friend, who knew martial arts—a feat that would be impossible under normal circumstances. But when facing death, humans can tap into a great inner strength that allows them to confront danger. It seemed the fear of death had awakened the dormant power inside the scarred bandit, helping him run at such a great speed.

Skreeeeeee!

But unfortunately for the scarred bandit and his friend, the Purple Lightning Hawk let out a powerful screech and dived towards them at incredible speed, causing them to freeze in place like trees from fear. They even wet their clothes, knowing they were about to be turned into a pile of minced meat the moment the Purple Lightning Hawk landed on them.
