Chapter 38 - CP: 38 - Be a Hunter #1

I involuntarily smiled upon hearing Erka's voice. However, when I turned my face towards her, I was a bit surprised.

Despite only a few weeks passing, Erka had grown taller.

"Sir, welcome. I'm glad to see you again."

Erka, as always, tried to please her customers with her sweet words.

"I'm happy to see you again too. I have a request for you. Can you help me?"

Such conversations didn't hold much importance for me, so I needed to set my plan in motion as quickly as possible.

"Of course, sir. I will help you in the best way I can."

Erka had started thinking about the money she would get at the end of this job. But a few seconds later, Erka started speaking again.

"Sir, how can I assist you?"

"I want to form a team of hunters. Like a hunter clan... I want to establish a hunter association, like Assiom's Children."

If I could become a hunter, I could move more comfortably among humans. Additionally, I could direct the hunters to fight against other dungeon masters.

"Sir, becoming a hunter might be easy, but establishing an association requires a lot."

Erka was speaking with worried eyes.

"What do I need to do?"

But turning back from here was impossible. I had to crush all the hunters and dungeon masters and rise to the top.

The reason I consulted Erka was that she usually mentioned such things for money.

"To establish an association, you need to own land. Also, you need thousands of gold, and there should be many hunters as members of your association. Of course, in addition to all these, you need the approval of the god."

Her face grimaced when she said the last sentence.

"The approval of the god?"

What did she mean by that?

"Sir, the existence of hunter associations is mainly due to the quests called 'Quest.' Thanks to these quests, hunters become stronger with each task. They receive a reward for each task. However, most people access these quests through associations."

Erka took a deep breath and continued.

"The problem is that I don't know how or based on what criteria quests are given. Even if you establish an association, you need quests to attract hunters."

Erka finished her speech in a hopeless tone. All this talk reminded me of my skill, "#Quest."

I didn't need the approval of the god to establish an association. I could act like a god myself. I could give quests to people, with the "#Quest" skill.
