Chapter 13 - CP : 13 - Hunter's Office

[Congratulations! You have obtained LVL 8 "Massahin."]

[Name: Massahin]

[Gender: Male]

[Strength: 1570]

[Speed: 730]

[Physical Resistance: 3240]

[Spiritual Resistance: 2460]

[Mana: 1200]

[Demonic Mana: 0]

[Skills: "Heavy Sword Mastery," "Immortal," "Floor Boss," "RedLane"]

[Immortal: Upon death, will resurrect after a period of time as long as the dungeon core exists. This skill is given to all legendary warrior creatures.]

[Floor Boss: Shapes one floor of the dungeon according to its nature and memories. In the shaped floor, it gains additional regeneration, power increase, and durability.

Note: Floor Boss cannot be "Boss."]

[RedLane: After battle starts, each strike enhances the user until the battle ends. This ability can be triggered an unlimited number of times.]

"With your permission."

He stood before me with his heavy sword on his back. His body was almost twice the size of mine. The red lines on his body made him look even more menacing.

Comparing his grandeur with my simple personality would undoubtedly be a big mistake.

His massive stature and heavy aura definitely set him apart from the others.

When I saw his statistics, a smile returned to my face.

"Why doesn't the system show his race?" It was strange that he had no race. Shouldn't every summoned creature have a race? Also, I couldn't select him as a "Boss." So, my dream of having a "strong Boss" had gone down the drain.

[Legendary warrior creatures have the same race as their name. There is only one of each legendary warrior creature. Each legendary warrior creature starts with 4 skills.

1. Their first skill becomes weapon mastery.

2. Their second skill becomes "Immortal."

3. Their third skill becomes either "Floor Boss" or "Summoner."

Floor Boss fight alone, while Summoners can summon their own troops. In both cases, cooperation with other dungeon creatures is weak.

4. Their fourth skill is given entirely at random.]

This could be the answer to my question. In other words, apart from legendary creatures, my other creatures would never come back to life if they died.

I locked eyes with Massahin, who had taken position inside the first floor. His gaze seemed somewhat disdainful. Maybe it bothered him because I was weak.

But as long as I had control of the dungeon, he had to listen to me.

"Massahin, you have full control over the 3rd floor now. You are the 'Floor Boss' of that floor."

Massahin silently descended to the lower floors.

Does he not know how to talk? To be honest, his attitude might be somewhat justified. After all, my dungeon ranking wasn't that great.

Should I send Raven to the castle, to be with the others? It might be beneficial for her to stay at the castle and teach the others a thing or two.

I guess there's no need for that right now. First, I needed to hunt down more bandits.

"Raven, we're going on a bandit hunt. Onyx, go to the 4th floor and wait there. Also, the Nefarriors should not leave the 1st floor. It's forbidden for the Nefarriors to descend to the lower floors."

Nefarriors were nothing more than basic creatures. Their total statistics ranged from 100 to 150.

"System, set Onyx as the Boss!"

[Dungeon Boss successfully changed.]

[The name of the 3rd floor has been changed to "Massahin Corridor."]

"What? Can I name the floors?" Massahin naming the floor surprised me.

[No, only the "Floor Boss" ability allows floor renaming.]

This was definitely annoying. We had left the dungeon, and our bandit hunt with Raven had begun.

------ Hunter's Guild ------

+Obtain information about the castle in Tokki Mountain and eliminate the person behind it.

+Reward: 44 Taae

A silver-armored hunter gently removed the note from the board.

"Another mission came today, and honestly, the reward is quite high. Usually, information gathering missions are between 2-3 Taae."

A red-haired, average-height girl spoke. She was the scout for the "Saure Circle" team.

"Why do you think the reward is so high? Also, we don't know how strong the person in question is."

The silver-armored hunter spoke from experience, having participated in hundreds of missions before. His inner voice told him that this mission might be harder than it seemed.

"It's been a long time since a mission with such a high reward came up. I think you're overthinking it. Besides, you're not alone; we have 2 other A-Rank hunters in our team."

He put his hand on the shoulder of the silver-armored hunter. He had a confident expression.

"I guess you might be right. It's just an information gathering mission; how hard could it be? Besides, we can retreat if things get tough."

The morale of the silver-armored hunter had returned. He slowly headed towards the reception.

"We're taking this mission."

The silver-armored hunter handed the paper to the man at the reception desk.

"Can you extend our Hunter IDs?"

The silver-armored hunter had completed all the necessary procedures. In this world, there were Hunter Lobbies where hunters could take missions.

Hunters earned a certain amount of money each month according to their rank. They also obtained rewards from places like these.

Hunter Lobbies were where the "system" was manually operated. There were two types of missions in Hunter Lobbies.

The first were missions given by the system. With these missions, hunters earned Taae points. They could use these points to strengthen themselves.

The second type of mission was created upon the request of local people. The rewards for these missions were generally collected and paid by the locals.

Hunters usually preferred not to work alone because they were mentally and numerically disadvantaged against what they encountered. Hunters began to solve this problem by working in teams.

Of course, there were lone wolves among hunters.

"Which mission did you choose?" A burly, thick-browed man asked.

With his heavy armor and enormous shield, he was the tank of the group.

"Arie and I picked this mission. It won't strain us too much, and the reward is higher than usual." The silver-armored hunter handed the paper over slowly.

"Hmm, not a bad choice." A woman with a white witch hat murmured.

She had a classic wizard's robe on. Her wand on her back matched her outfit perfectly.

"Addon, should we rest at the tavern today? I'm out of energy to move around."

The man, who was the group's healer, spoke with a playful tone.
