I fought the want to feel uncomfortable as another spasm startled me. Everything I had eaten today made me throw up as I was sitting on the toilet. Bagels, apples, and chicken Caesar salad all surfaced. I grabbed a tissue and wiped the last of the vomit from my mouth when I finally finished vomiting. The flavor of the repulsive food made me want to throw up once more, but I refrained.
Thinking clearly was difficult when I studied the available foods. How come a simple breakfast and lunch could make me feel so sick? The epiphany shocked me. I had been ill for some days. But was it stomach flu or food poisoning? After flushing the toilet, I sprinted to the sink to quickly rinse my mouth with water.
