Terraria had transformed from her beast form and submerged herself into Reece's sea of consciousness.
"Look at that I never thought I'd get to see you here all the way from the outer reaches," Terraria stared at the Tao soul book with curiosity and with a familiar smile on her face. Just as she looked at the book, just then she vaguely sensed another power within Reece's sea of consciousness, it was a power superior even to hers and even she could not make out its origin.
Reece also emersed himself into the sea of consciousness and overheard what Terraria had said a while ago.
"Wait! You know what this is?" Reece asked cheerfully as he'd finally at least get some answers to some of his questions.
"Yes, but partly too I don't know much about, but I know what it is and where it comes from. Reece are you sure you are from this lower realm, where were you born and who are your parents?" Terraria asked Reece as she put on a puzzled look and stared intently at Reece.
"Yeah, am from this realm, I don't know my parents, but I was born in Yin-Yang Empire at least that what my grandpa always told me before he left also." Reece replied with a downcast face.
"I guess that make the puzzle even mysterious, you are a being in the lower realm with an ancient demon body physique of an ancient emperor and that makes you his descendant but from where? You have the Tao soul book, don't know your origins. I'm loving this already, but I also sensed a superior power in you. It seems there is somebody watching over you from a far." Terraria smiled as she turned her attention to the soul book.
"When you put it like that it sounds like am not from this realm and I am." Reece tried to remove the skeptical thoughts," so are you going to tell me about that book."
"Oh yes, this is the Tao soul book, it's a cultivation manual from the outer realms beyond even Avaria. The last time I saw it, it was still in the outer realms, and it was not in a sea of consciousness like it is right now. It was in tower in the outer realms where it was hailed as treasure and cultivators fought over it. It's said to help the one who wields it endless techniques, skills and treasures to help in cultivation, as far as I know you will cultivate the Tao way." Terraria explain to Reece.
(THE TAO SOUL WAY)
Cultivation stages:
1. BODY REFINING STAGE: reshapes the meridians and veins in the body forging and indestructible body and allows for the flow of spiritual energy.
2.BLOOD COAGULATING STAGE: Uses the blood in the body to release the shackles of cultivation and needs demon beast blood of high rank to help create new meridians.
3. SOUL CULTIVATION STAGE: cultivates the soul building up the spiritual power and mental strength to help the soul grow stronger and opens up the sea of consciousness. (equivalent to a nascent soul realm cultivator). Can possibly attract tribulations considering the level of soul strength cultivated.
4. DOMAIN BREAKING STAGE: Creates a domain and uses it for defense and attack. Can fly without a sword.
5. TRIBULATION STAGE: Cultivator faces four of the nine heavenly tribulations and if passes the catastrophe the cultivation advances.
6. HEAVEN PENETRATING PHASE: Can create a supreme weapon, forged from the true essence of the cultivator and its grade is a heaven grade weapon.
7. GOD TRANSFORMATION: Cultivator transforms into a half immortal and the life span is increased by ten thousand years.
8. DIVINE JUDGEMENT: Cultivator advance into an immortal and can ascent to immortality after passing a divine judgement from the gods. Can forge divine weapons that help to survive the divine tribulation stage and judgement too.
9. DIVINE TRIBULATION STAGE: Cultivator faces the tribulation which is accompanied by a divine decree and only after this can the cultivator ascend to the middle realms and higher realms from the lower realms.
"So what stage am I?" Reece asked enthusiastically as he wanted to find out.
"I can say you are now in the Soul Cultivating stage, but you are far different than the other cultivators since you practice the Tao way and them, they practice QI-DAO (seven by two) cultivation method." Terraria further explained to Reece the difference.
(QI-DAO CULTIVATION WAY)
1.QI REFINING: a) bone reshaping
b) qi condensation and can forge weapons
this involves condensing the qi into the cultivator's body and strengthening the bones.
2. FOUNDATION BUILDING: a) Realizing one's own martial arts and way of fighting.
b) forming a bond with a spirit beast
3. BLOOD SEED FORMATION: a) using the blood to lay out a formation.
b) using the formation to curve out runes and talismans.
4. NASCENT SOUL REALM: a) reshaping the soul and strengthening it.
b) attaining a golden core after reshaping of the soul.
5. ENLIGHTENMENT REALM: a) creating a set of secret skills that can only be used by the creator.
b) forging soul weapons.
6. TRUE ESSENCE REALM: a) strengthening the true elements.
b) forming a spirit beast formation.
7. IMMORTAL SAGE REALM: a) creating a small world domain.
b) tribulations for ascension.
"Thats just a tip of the information and the methods cultivators in this lower realm use but there are more stages to cultivation after you ascend to the middle realm," Terraria added to already what she had explained to Reece.
Terraria came out of Reece's sea of consciousness and as she added to what she had already said she observed something she had not seen earlier. She saw long chains of lightning and ice all attached onto Reece's body. She stared at them intently as she knew what the chains meant if they are wrapped around a cultivator, and what future lay before Reece.
" Master what are you looking at?" Reece asked as he tried to find what Terraria stared at," is there something on me."
"Yes, there's something on you, can't you see it?" Terraria said as her voice lowered.
" No, I can't." Reece replied as he looked shocked at what she said.
She touched Reece's forehead with the tip of her finger and passed on a skill that could allow him to see the chains. (DIVINE EYES) Reece used it and saw the heavy and many chains that were bound to his body. The chains were had lightning, ice and fire all around and they were heavily bound onto his body especially around his arms and legs.
"Those are heavens chains; they represent the will of the heavens. They are powerful and they bound the cultivators who are destined to surpass the pinnacle and they bound them restricting their cultivation and imprisoning them to a lower realm or never to reach the pinnacle of cultivation or ascend to the upper realms." Terraria said with a heavy heart, her voice was low," I only know of one person who broke the chains and reached the pinnacle of cultivation and that was Emperor Ching, and he went against the heaven's will and broke the chains and got out of his prison."
