" Well, Bart and Akira are my investigators…They help me get informations about people, whenever I ask them to do so." I say to Carly, getting back into my office, while Carly followed me behind. "So what happened to Genevieve when you told her you know?" Carly ask me, curiously sitting on my office desk.
"Don't you need to go to your own office?" I ask Carly, teasing her, so she could leave me alone. " Well…Be fast about it, if not I'm not going anywhere till you tell me everything that transpired." Carly say to me, staring at me, with a curious eye. " Okay! I will tell you…so you can leave my office." I say to Carly, now sitting down on my office chair. I cleared my throat. " When I told Genevieve that I knew she faked her identity in Africa, she apologized and then I told her to come back and work for me ." I say to Carly, waiting for her response to what I just told her. " I knew it! You couldn't get your eyes off her at your birthday party last week.. I knew you were Missing her and will finally tell her to come back to work." Carly say to me, teasing me, she took another sip of her coffee which was now a bit cold, due our discussion. "Anyways, it's good as Genevieve is back to work.. I won't always be bored and certainly will enjoy her company. Unlike that loud mouth Olivia, I don't like her one bit. I feel she's after your money and nothing else." Carly say to me, standing up to leave my office. " Chaow..Chaow! See you soon" Carly say to me waving at me. Before closing the door, behind her."
"Such a clown!" I say to myself, giggling. Knowing that Carly liked Genevieve more than Olivia, gave me hope that, she won't hate me or Genevieve if we start dating. Not that I made my intentions known to Genevieve yet, but it made me feel less tensed. Carly knew more than I can imagine. She behaved like an Adult. Way more mature than her age. " Peace be unto you!" Bart say to me from outside my office door, waiting for me to tell him to come in. "What of Akira?" I ask Bart,who was now inside my office. " I don't know, boss..I came alone. I thought she would have come to work already." Bart say to me, placing his hands inside his trousers, looking serious. "I saw Genevieve, at the workers lounge . Did you hire her back?" Bart ask me, wondering why I employed Genevieve back to be my personal assistant. "Well, I realized I can't do some things properly or organize my meeting scheduled without having to forget about one meeting…So I employed her back to work for me, because she did the job well, before my wife fired her." I say to Bart, watching his movement. " You think it's the right decision..Ethan?" Bart ask me, looking worried. " Why do you look worried?" I ask Bart, folding my two hands on eachother, resting them on my chest. "What about your wife, Olivia..won't she freak out?" Bart ask me, curiously looking at my face. What does he expect, I don't love Olivia and she's just my contract wife. Its Genevieve my heart beats for. " Well.. Olivia has to deal with it. I'm the boss here and not her." I replied to Bart's question. "If she dares throw any tantrum, I will have to suspend her myself." I say to Bart one more time. He could see the seriousness in my eyes. Afterall Olivia lost the respect of being called my wife when she cheated on me. So I am free to do anything I want to do with any lady, any time and any day. I just choose to not get my life messy. As we were talking, I heard a loud sound coming from the staff lounge, where Genevieve is. I looked at Bart with an inquisitive glance and he did sane too. We rushed to the staff lounge, only to find Olivia, screaming at Genevieve. "What are you doing here...I thought I fired you." Olivia ask Genevieve, angrily waiting for a response. It was so bad that Olivia took off her shoes ready to pounce on Genevieve, if she didn't explain to her what she was doing here.
" I'm sorry, ma'am. But Ethan gave me back the job." Genevieve say to Olivia, catching a glance at me, before removing her face. "You are such a pathetic liar! You think you can decide to come around as you want and pretend like.." I gave her back her job." I say to Olivia, interrupting her. "What?..You must be joking.. please tell me you are joking Ethan!" Olivia say to me. I can see the heart break in her eyes as she stares at me hoping and praying that I would tell her it was all a joke. " I'm s Olivia, but it's not a joke..I told Genevieve to return to work, because I couldn't organize or properly schedule my meetings. Genevieve is the only person that can do it well. "You son of a bit**h! How dare you reverse my order?" Olivia say to me screaming at the top of her voice. " Did you know what you just did? You belittle me in front of this pig." Olivia say to me, screaming at me. Akira came to the company , and on hearing loud noises from the staff lounge, rushed in to see Olivia screaming at me. " What's going on?" Akira ask Bart who was panicking at the sight of the situation on ground. " I don't blame you! I blame myself for still staying in this fake marriage." Olivia say to me, pushing Bart , who was obstructing her way, slamming the door behind her after she left the staff lounge. I saw the reaction on Genevieve's face. She felt like a plague around us as Bart and Akira, stared at her. " I'm sorry..I can't do this." Genevieve say to me, also storming out of the lounge.
