Who would have thought that as soon as Zachary opened his Divine Sense, he found the corpse of a rooster, gutted open, not far from where the group of people had just lingered.
In this godforsaken place, the sight of the rooster's body must have been brought by that group of people. However, Zachary couldn't figure out why they would bring poultry with them, let alone so blatantly abandon the three animal corpses here.
Everyone knew that at this time, resources were quite scarce, so under normal circumstances, no one would waste food, especially such obvious meat.
Yet those people seemed indifferent to the poultry corpses. There weren't many reasons for this outcome. One possibility was that they left in a hurry and didn't have time to clean up. However, Zachary had watched them leave and they didn't seem to be in an urgent need to move.
