There were not many survivors living in the office building, so some of the older people went down by elevator, while the younger ones left directly through the fire exit.
The two earthquakes had not significantly damaged the building, allowing everyone to safely leave the office tower.

After settling down, the couple worried whether Dong Tianyu was facing any dangers. After all, tall buildings, underground spaces, and the inside of mountains were deemed dangerous places after an earthquake.
When they saw Dong Tianyu returned safely, Mr. and Mrs. Thompson felt a great relief. However, when they realized that Walker Violet was not with him, their earlier calm quickly turned to anxiety.
