The three-day sun showers had little impact on the official Refuge Centers, however, it was a disaster for some of the private sanctuaries established outside the City Center.
The reason behind it is quite simple—the ordinary private sanctuaries only had one entrance and exit, regardless of how well the drainage measures were carried out in these sanctuaries.
In order to ensure air circulation, private sanctuaries could not completely seal off the only entrance and exit, and so inevitably rainwater would leak inside during the continuous downpour.
Although the amount of rainwater seeping into the shelters was not much, the high-temperature rainwater would inevitably raise the temperature inside the underground sanctuaries.
