In The Other Shore, the defense of defensive magic treasures decreases as they are attacked. Once the defense is reduced to zero, it's as if they have been completely shattered and need to be reforged before they can be used again.
However, players can also replenish their magic treasures' defense by injecting Qi values. Defensive magic treasures are often several times more expensive than offensive ones because they have better quality.
Facing attacks from several magic treasures of the same rank, the Profound Female Pearl could still defend effortlessly without being overwhelmed.
Even when facing attack magic treasures that are one or two ranks higher, it won't immediately collapse, at least, until its defense reaches zero. It can at least help block some attacks for a short time.
