For the past 5 weeks this Isaac guy has been appearing more frequently around town, 'accidentally' bumping into both the Fentons and Blaire on separate occasions exchanging small chat before parting ways again, but other than that Blaire has been feeling well lately and has been forced to rest in bed until this stomach bug goes away. However, Jasmine isn't sure that this was no ordinary stomach bug at all, and took things into her own hands once Dan goes out to do his usual rounds.
"Alright. I've got what I needed, and now it's time that I head back before anyone suspects anything" Jasmine said to herself whilst looking through the plastic shopping bag as she quickly left the store, seeing that everything was accounted for including a familiar coloured small rectangular white and blue box. Not allowing the front to be seen only small foreign writing at the back of it. "I just know she isn't sick! I can just feel it, my gut is never wrong" she thought making her journey back home where she snuck past the others, and knocked on Blaire's door before entering somewhat glad to see that Dan wasn't back yet.
"Do you need anything?" Blaire asked looking absolutely exhausted from throwing up all morning and yesterday. Jasmine placed the bag down after shutting the bedroom door behind her, walking over to Blaire's side of the bed.
"I brought something from the shop you should really try. It might help me find out what's making you so nauseous these last couple of days. I think you know how to work one of these, right?" Jasmine suggested bringing up a box that said Clear blue pregnancy test. This caused Blaire to immediately sit up wanting to see that her eyes weren't deceiving her.
"You may think I'm actually pregnant and not ill?" Blaire asked as Jasmine nodded handing her the box whenever she felt ready to take it. "You're lucky I need the toilet right now" she added on and carefully slipped out of bed before standing up with ease, as Jasmine remained nearby all the way to the bathroom incase Blaire were to faint, which she did not and gave the woman some privacy.
Blaire did what the test needed to properly give a solid result and flipped it face down as she stood up from the toilet seat. She exhaled unsure of what to think or how Dan would react, knowing he might actually become a father if it comes back as positive.
"This is extremely nerve racking. What am I suppose to do? Will he actually like the thought of being a dad?" Blaire continues to doubt things even though the times they shared with Avery was proof enough, but is it too soon? Are they really ready for this? "I can't cope with this stress, I need to lay back down before I pass out again" taking to herself as Blaire left the bathroom and headed back to her room, laying herself down drinking some water before going back to sleep again. Not expecting the events that were going to unfold.
Later on that afternoon Dan returned back home rather grumpy like usual, and wondered upstairs ignoring everyone as he went into the bathroom to watch his hands, before noticing the test midway and quickly dried his hand and picked it up out of curiosity.
"Who the fuck left this laying here?" Dan confusingly cussed to himself and turned it around seeing two distinctive red lines, he knew exactly what those mean and headed downstairs with it in hand. "Did any of you guys leave a pregnancy test resting upside down on the sink upstairs?" He asked heading into the room where only Jasmine and Danny sat inside seeing this this she only sister gasped in shock. "It better not be yours or I'll be killing somebody" Dan threatened to murder a man as Jasmine quickly denied it, but knew exactly who it belonged to. "Who's is it then?" He asked demanding to know the truth as Jasmine exhaled as if ready to spill the beans.
"It isn't mine, but Blaire's. I knew she wasn't sick due to her symptoms and wanted to see if my suspicions are true, and I guess they are. She's pregnant" she explained giving the news to both brothers who were taken by this, as Dan glanced down at the test staring lost in thought for a moment before turning his head at the stairs that lead up to where Blaire slept.
"So Blaire is.. PREGNANT?!" Danny exclaimed not expecting this and turned his attention from Jasmine to Dan who turning his attention elsewhere, and went upstairs. He silently opened the bedroom door still seeing how dark it was noticing Blaire still asleep in bed. Dan placed the test aside and snuck to her side, sitting on the edge as he gently brushed a pieces of hair that was on her cheek. This caused her to groan slowly woken up as he unexpectedly gently kissed Blaire's forehead.
"Mm.." Blaire mumbled slowly waking up opening her eyes to see him hovering over her with his hand gently placing against her cheek. "D-Dan..? What are yo-" she pulled herself up when he unexpectedly hugged her. Blaire was confused and whilst half asleep she hugged back not realising what was happening.
"I didn't mean to wake you up baby, but right now you've literally made my fucking day" Dan said before flopping over Theia to the spare side bedside her, and continued to hug her as she remained confused.
"I am not following, but what did I do exactly?" She asked I return with a yawn slowly waking her body up, but the hug only made her want to go back to sleep. Dan rested his head on Blaire's shoulder keeping her as close to him as possible, placing his hand directly on top of her stomach pulling himself back to look at Blaire properly whilst his hand remains gently resting on top of her stomach.
"By giving me a chance to be a father, and loved endlessly by our unborn child" he replied with a soft smile catching Blaire off guard, as she instantly glanced down where his hand was knowing for a fact he wasn't joking.
"I'm pregnant!.. Holy shit. You really did knock me up" Blaire said looking back up at him as he let out a gentle laugh, finding her response quite hilarious. Suddenly she gently cupped his cheek with her hand, making him go silent for a moment when seeing that loving look in her eyes, glistening and reflecting like a freshly polish diamond underneath a clear night sky filled with endless of stars. "You say you're so mean, dangerous and cruel. And yet here you are touching my belly making a baby of our own together. Care to back yourself up tough guy?" She said with a little grin as he scoffed with a smirk and put a hand on top of hers that was gently touching his cheek, before closing both eyes and have the centre of Blaire's palm and few little kisses until unexpected pulling her in, moving the hand that was placed against her stomach around to the back of her waist and went in for a longing passionate kiss. Allowing her hands and arms to go around the back of his neck instantly giving in to his loving.
Later on that afternoon Theia was sat on her own in the living room when an uneasy presence could be felt coming into the room, it was stressed, jealous and filled with rage. Something she has already experienced so whoever it was she chose to ignore it, and continued minding her business by reading a similar book she chose back at Vlad's mansion.
"Such negativity.. That ghost really needs therapy if it wants to move on and leave me alone. It ain't my problem, not at the moment at least" Theia thought trying everything in her will power to ignore this presence until something odd occurred. It became more stronger like becoming a figure until eventually making a literal human like presence before her, she gulped not wanting to look up and took her time feeling it's eyes glaring at her from the other sofa, that sat facing directly in front of her on the others side of the centre table.
"I know you're aware of my presence, Devina or whatever your name is now. Why can't you just look at me? It'll save us a lot of time before they come back" Isaac's deep voice spoke making her freeze in place not expecting him to know such a personal detail about her.
"I do apologise, but my name is Blaire so you're probably at the wrong house. So leave while you still can" Blaire replied a little shaken while keeping a calm and concentrated appearance, but her energy proved that she was on edge and he can sense it as clear as day.
"Liar. I only want to talk, nothing more. Just lend me a few minutes of your time.. Please" Isaac appeared to plead in some sort of way as she sighed closing her book, and placed it down directly on top of her lap before glancing up at him maintaining a serious profile.
"Speak" she demanded in a stern tone giving him exactly a few minutes to explain why he is here before she calls for assistance.
"I am trying to contain myself as it is, but why him? What is so special about that one guy? He's not even as strong as Kai or even me! And yet you still chose him!" Isaac spoke as if he knew her in some sort of way along with her brother Kai, but within those few moments she paused noticing his actions and the way he spoke. This caused a flash of unpleasant memories to rush through her mind.
"No.. I-it can't be. You need to leave. NOW!" Blaire growled intimidatingly in response realising who exactly Isaac really is, as he stood up from the sofa taking her threat seriously.
"You don't get to order me around anymore. I on the other hand is currently the second strongest knight your father-I mean the emperor has, ever since he disowned you after the stunt you pulled all those years ago. So it'll be wise if you actually showed me some respect for not apprehending you so far" Isaac responded with a rather cocky grin witch soon turned into an agitated frown knowing how tough Blaire can really be, but as expected she showed signs of retaliation.
"I don't give a flying fuck about your respect nor your so called emperor. Go eat a bag full of dicks you ungrateful bastard!" Blaire argued back standing up from the sofa not caring about the height difference they shared, as he made his way towards her until mere inches away growling in response.
"And how could I be so fucking disrespectful, huh? Tell me if you're so damp confident to back it up" he said as neither of them notices the front door opening allowing Dan, Jasmine and Danny to enter into the kitchen.
"Oh really? Are you sure about that? 'Cause the lag time I remember the last time I tried to voice my own goddamn opinion you personally put your hands on me. Let alone cheated on me with some weak as needy bitch who was already arranged to marry the next day, but you got greedy and abandon me while I was pregnant with your child! I don't love you anymore Apollo and I never will. You need to realise that and move on just like you did when you chose HER over ME?!" Blaire roared letting all out at Isaac who began to lose his patience gritting his teeth, before finally revealing himself in his all his glory.
"So what if I did? She was far better than you in every single way! You're ugly, useless, weak, pathetic and a waste of my time. And I bet it won't even take long for your new boyfriend to feel the same and leave you for a much better woman anyway. 'Cause a cold hearted monster like you deserves to die alone, nor do you deserve any happiness including that thing growing within your stomach. I might as well do it a favour and take it away before it realise how much of a burden you really are once it's born" Apollo cold responded grabbing Blaire by her neck with his left hand and proceeded to lift her up, slowly choking her with a little cocky chuckle as he started to ready his fist that instantly knew where it was meant to go. "You didn't deserve to have Avery. She deserves much better than to have a mother like you" he lastly said before Dan had heard enough going instantly into his ghost form and barged into the living room towards Apollo, before suddenly pausing noticing the resemblance he shared to himself and Avery.
"Let.. Go" Blaire struggled to breath kicking her legs against Apollo's bulked up body lowing his hand, when seeing such a pathetic attempt to harm him and looked up at her unfazed silently mocking Blaire the more she tried to hurt him.
"How cute. Despite being so weak thanks to Dex, you can't even hurt me. You're as weak as a human being right now, and whatever you produce next is going to be just as pathetic. I would kill you right now, but the emperor has other plans for you once he's ready to follow through with it of course" Apollo continued to speak squeezing his hand that was around her throat tighter, making Blaire gasp for air grabbing tightly onto his wrist fighting for her life at this vulnerable moment in time.
"Unhand her before I do it myself" Dan growled behind Apollo who glanced over his own shoulder, noticing the bright red eyes glowing at him. Filled with such rage as he glanced back at Blaire.
"Really? This is the guy you picked? And here I thought you would do better, but clearly I was wrong. You do have terrible taste in men. I bet the brat would've agreed with me, if she had any common sense" Apollo began to get snarky with his words thinking he had the advantage still giving Blaire all his attention, wanting her to only look at him while she slowly died from being strangled by his hand.
"Don't you dare talk about her like you knew the damn child! Or do you want me to rip you a new funding throat?" Dan growled making Apollo roll his eyes before letting out a sigh releasing Blaire from his grip, as she collapsed to the floor coughing and desperately catching her breath whilst holding her neck with one of her hands.
"You think you've got what it takes to defeat me? I'm a champion in our lands, no one even dares to challenge me or they're faced with death or a scar that'll remind them who is fat more powerful" Apollo said glancing his eyes down at Blaire for a moment before darting them back at Dan who was trying his best to contain himself. "Devina here learned the hard way, didn't you love?" He grinned using some sort of magic to lift up her chins to look at them. She appeared out of breath and easy to kill, but due to her core being so unstable she can't really defend herself as much as she used to.
"That is enough!" Clockwork's voice echoed as he entered in noticing Apollo standing there along with Dan who tried to keep his inner rage from spilling. They both did look alive, but didn't exactly share the same personality as one at least knows how to show respect, even to those who are struggling beneath him.
"Great. Another wizard, I perhaps you're here to send me off, right? You might as well do it, I ain't moving" Apollo became stubborn crossing his arms as he remained stuck in place with Blaire who sat on her knees behind him.
"Stubborn as always, but unlike the others I rather not have you intervene with things that do not corner you. Return back to your home realm immediately before I alert Alaric to come be deal with you himself" Clockwork threatened seeing the look on Apollo's face shift, as he groles whilst gritting his teeth unfolding his arms aware of the power Alaric had, compared to everyone else within his home realm.
"Fine! But this isn't the last time we'll meet, but first I need to collect something that rightfully belongs to me" Apollo growled back seriously pissed off opening up a red like portal beside him, he exhaled to relax himself before quickly grabbing Blaire and bolted through the portal as Dan tried to rush after them, but he was too slow as it shut when he was inches away from entering.
"NO?!" Dan roared causing the entire house to shake from his angered rage and punched the living room wall knowing Blaire was in grave danger. He glared at Clockwork from over his shoulder, while removing the fist from the hole he made that connected directly to the kitchen. "Where did he take her? I want to know NOW!" He demanded having no idea about this other realm Clockwork spoke of.
"The realm is usually referred by higher ghosts like myself as the Astral Realm, but others call it The Shattered Reality. Unsure of why as is it the complete opposite of the human realm which is where we live in, but there's is more fantasy with powerful monsters, creatures and beings you can't even comprehend. Blaire is an example of one of those beings along with Apollo, he is one of many you shouldn't be fighting against yet. His power greatly overpowers that of Vlad's and your own combined and doubled" Clockworked tried to warn Dan of the consequences, but he could care less if chasing them would lead to death. His mind was aimed on saving Blaire and his unborn child, before Apollo dared to try and harm any of them again or he'll never forgive himself.
"Does it look like I give a fuck if I die? BLAIRE NEED ME! I refuse to lose either of them because you think it's for the best. I need her and she needs me, so open me a goddamn portal. NOW" Dan growled remaining fixated on one thing which seemed to make Clockwork smile in response, seeing how much he had changed since coming here for a second chance at life.
"Alright. Just don't be doing anything stupid, I'll be watching" Clockwork replied bringing up that similar portal behind Dan as he huffed at the wizard before walking through. However, the solo quickly turned into a duo as Danny came through making Dan lowly growled knowing this could really drag them down. They started out somewhere far in a forest meaning this empire Apollo served for could be anywhere.
"Before you snap. Clockwork was the one who suggested that I tag along as a safety precaution, unless you want Jasmine to come along instead?" Danny quickly explained for his own safety as the big guy started to walk off with a grudge not in the mood for babysitting, but he had no other choice than to let him join which is better than having anymore tagging along to pull him back. He was on a mission to save the love of his life, not to mess around and waste any precious time. Will they manage to find her on their own? Or is it already too late?
