Months had passed, and Kaye and her family were now living peacefully. Kurtis had ascended to the position of director at the hospital owned by the Fuentebella family, while Tristan was preoccupied with the upcoming opening of their school next month.
Kaye found herself at the park with her son, enjoying the sight of other children playing. She smiled warmly as she watched them, her heart filled with anticipation for her son's growth and future adventures.
"Baby, I'm so excited to watch you grow up, play with other kids, make new friends, and attend school. Promise me you'll be a good boy like your godfathers," she said to her son, showering him with affectionate kisses on his cheeks.
Suddenly, a group of men dressed in black approached her, causing her to furrow her brow in confusion and concern. They bore the unmistakable aura of belonging to a mafia family. Are they from Fuentebella?
"Good day, Miss Kaye," the men greeted her with respectful bows.
"Um, good day. Is there something you need?" she asked, instinctively pulling her son closer to her.
Had Mikhail sent them? She was alone with her son today, as her husbands were all occupied with their work, and she hadn't thought to request bodyguards. Even Nanny Sally was unwell and resting.
"We are from the Fuentebella family, sent by our Boss," one of the men explained.
"The Boss... You mean the Don of the Fuentebella Family?" Kaye inquired, her mind racing with questions.
"Yes, madam. He wishes to meet you in person. If it's alright with you, may we take some of your time today and accompany you?" the man asked respectfully.
Mikhail's grandfather. But why? Did he already know about her relationship with the others? Kaye had never met the Boss, but rumors painted a terrifying picture of him, even scarier than Mikhail.
"A-Alright. I'll come with you," she agreed hesitantly.
They headed to the car and got inside. Kaye cradled her sleeping son, her thoughts swirling with apprehension. She glanced out the window, her mind consumed with contemplation over the potential outcome of their impending encounter.
After half an hour, they arrived at the grand mansion of the Fuentebellas. All the men bowed upon seeing Kaye and escorted her to the luxurious living room. There, she beheld the formidable figure of the old man seated, sipping his tea.
"Boss, she's here," his right-hand man announced.
The Don fixed his steely gaze on her, causing Kaye to gulp nervously. The atmosphere in the room was palpably tense, weighed down by the weight of his scrutiny.
"Have a seat," the Don offered, his voice commanding yet composed.
"T-Thank you," Kaye stammered, taking a seat as instructed.
"You are Mikhail's girlfriend, am I right?" he inquired, his tone carrying a hint of suspicion.
"Y-Yes," she replied, she was so nervous.
"Hmm..." he mused, taking another sip of his tea before speaking again. "But I heard that you are also seeing his twin brother," he added, his gaze piercing and accusatory.
"A-About that... It's just..." Kaye began, but her words were swiftly cut off by the Don's interruption.
"What kind of woman are you? Is Mikhail not enough for you that you also seek the company of his brother? The twins have always been inseparable, protecting each other. But since you came into their lives, they have turned against each other, nearly killed each other. All because of a woman who cannot be satisfied with one man," the Don admonished, his voice laced with disappointment.
"But I love them both. Equally. No matter what you say, I will fight for my love for them. Even if you demand that I sever my ties with them, I refuse. I will never leave them," Kaye declared defiantly.
"How shameless!" the Don erupted, his voice booming with anger. "You are nothing but greedy! I know your type—you would do anything for money! You seek to wield power through my grandsons!"
"You're wrong! I love them!" Kaye protested, her voice trembling with emotion.
"Love?" he scoffed incredulously. "How dare you call it love?" he then turned his gaze towards Eros. "That child... He's not from my grandsons, is he?"
Kaye faltered, unable to answer. Revealing that Eros's father was the mayor of J City would only further enrage the old man.
The mayor and the Fuentebellas had previously clashed, with Kaye being the cause of the issue.
It's all my fault...
All she brings to her family are troubles.

Mikhail was in his office when Isaac barged in, swinging the door open without warning.
"Don't you know how to knock?" Mikhail snapped, his irritation evident in his tone.
"It's Kaye!" Isaac exclaimed urgently.
Mikhail's brow furrowed in concern.
"Grandpa took her! My men reported seeing his men taking Kaye to the main mansion!" Isaac continued, his worry palpable.
"What?" Mikhail exclaimed, his heart racing as he grabbed his car keys and bolted out of his office.
Isaac hurried after him, and together they raced to the main mansion in their cars.
.
.
When they arrived at the mansion, they found Kaye and Eros with their grandfather. Kaye was in tears, and the old man appeared furious.
"Grandpa!" both Mikhail and Isaac called out simultaneously.
"Grandpa, please don't be mad at Kaye! It was my decision!" Mikhail pleaded.
"Kaye wasn't at fault! I was the one who begged her to accept me!" Isaac explained.
"Grandpa, please don't take her away from me. I love Kaye! Because of her, I learned how to forgive my brother. Please, grandpa..." Mikhail implored.
"Grandpa, I will do anything, but please don't separate us. I can't live without her! I'm begging you!" Isaac cried.
"Even if this woman has a child with another man, you still love her?" the Don inquired, his voice grave.
"It wasn't her fault. She was kidnapped and raped," Mikhail gritted his teeth as he recalled the ordeal.
"She couldn't abort the child. He's innocent. But Kaye almost took her own life. I managed to save her," Isaac added, his voice trembling with emotion.
"Grandpa, I love her, and I will always accept her, even with a child now," Mikhail affirmed.
"Me too. In fact, I am acting as his father," Isaac confessed.
"I love her, grandpa!" they both declared.
The Don was taken aback. This was the first time he had seen these two express such deep affection. He scrutinized them for a moment before sighing.
"You truly love her?" he asked.
They nodded eagerly.
He sighed again.
"Fine! I won't stop you from choosing her," he relented.
Their eyes widened in relief, and Isaac hugged his grandpa tightly.
"But I want to know what happened to the child's father. Have you punished him?" the Don inquired, his expression serious.
They gulped nervously.
The Don furrowed his brows.
Mikhail knew his grandpa would investigate, so they confessed the truth about the child's father. The Don was furious and now wanted to speak to the Villamayor family about the matter.
As Kaye was the lover of his grandsons and soon-to-be granddaughter-in-law, he had to support her for the happiness of his grandsons. However, he would remain strict with all three of them.
