Timothy's heart soared with uncontainable happiness as the DNA results confirmed his paternity with a staggering 99.9 percent certainty. Eros was indeed his flesh and blood, a living testament to the love he once shared with Kaye. With a determined resolve burning within him, he gripped the steering wheel tightly as he sped toward Kaye's mansion, the weight of his newfound fatherhood heavy on his shoulders.
"Kaye... Eros... I'll set things right for us," he murmured, his voice tinged with a mixture of hope and apprehension.
After what felt like an eternity, he finally arrived at the imposing gates of Kaye's mansion. Before he could even reach for the doorbell, he found himself confronted by the formidable Fuentebella guards, their guns trained on him like accusing fingers.
"Tsk. The Fuentebella guards," he muttered under his breath, his frustration simmering beneath the surface.
"I've come to see my wife. Please, let me speak with her," he pleaded.
One of the guards, stone-faced and unmoved, dialed a number and engaged in a terse conversation. When he finally turned his attention back to Timothy, his expression was grave, as though delivering a verdict.
"Leave! Madam doesn't want to see you!" the guard barked, his words a harsh blow to Timothy's hopes.
"Please, let me see her! I'm her husband. I need to see her and our son!" he implored, desperation dripping from every word. He lunged for the gate, but the guards intercepted him, their steely resolve matching his own.
Timothy's frustration boiled over into action as he clashed with the guards. The clash between them intensified, turning into a chaotic scene of raised voices and physical confrontations.
Meanwhile, Kaye gently laid Eros down in his crib when she received a call from the guards outside, informing her that Timothy was at the gate. Without hesitation, she instructed them to remove him from the premises. Scooping up her cat, she made her way to the living room, where her husbands and boyfriends were absent, all occupied with work. As she settled onto the sofa, she flicked on the TV to watch her favorite shows, only to be interrupted by the sudden eruption of loud commotion outside.
With a resigned sigh, she muttered to herself, "Seems like he doesn't want to leave."
She stood up and stepped outside, her heart pounding with anger. "What the hell are you doing here?" she demanded, her voice laced with fury.
Timothy rushed towards her, dropping to his knees and clutching her hands tightly. "Kaye, please! Please let me see my son!" he pleaded, tears glistening in his eyes.
Kaye recoiled, her expression a mixture of shock and disbelief. "H-How did..." She pulled her hand away. "No! What do you mean, your son?"
"Kaye, you can't deny the truth! I know Eros is my son. I did a DNA test, and it's confirmed," Timothy insisted, thrusting the test result towards her.
Kaye's eyes widened in disbelief. "How dare you conduct a test on my son without my consent!" she seethed, crumpling the paper and tossing it aside. "You have no right to claim him as your own! He's my child, and you'll never be his father!"
"Kaye, please! Give me a chance to make things right!" Timothy pleaded desperately, his voice trembling with emotion.
"A chance? There's nothing to fix, Tim! And I'll never let you near my son! You don't deserve to be his father!" she yelled, tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Kaye, please! I'm begging you!" Timothy cried, sinking to his knees once more. "Please let me see our son... My son! Don't take him away from me!"
He reached for her hand, but Kaye pushed him away. "He already has a father. Isaac will take care of him better than you ever could!" she spat.
Timothy stood. "So, It's fine for you to let our son grow up thinking that man is his real father? Kaye, by doing so, you're not only robbing him of the chance to know his real father, but you're also deceiving him! And when the truth comes out, do you think he'll be happy?"
Kaye turned away, unable to meet his gaze.
"Kaye, I know I've done unforgivable things to you. I kidnapped you, I forced you into marriage. But I regret it all, Kaye! I've suffered too, I've battled depression! I've prayed every night for your forgiveness and for God's mercy. I'm willing to change, to fix everything. I'll do anything to make our family whole!" Timothy poured out his soul, his voice choked with tears.
Kaye continued to cry. She didn't want to lie to her son forever, but accepting Timothy was very hard, considering all that he had done to her.
"Kaye, please..." Timothy pleaded, dropping to his knees again. "I'm begging you... Please let me see our son. If you can't accept me, fine. But don't deny me the chance to be his father. I beg you!"
Kaye stared at him, tears streaming down her face, unable to think clearly. She felt sympathy for him; he also had rights. But it wasn't easy for her to accept him. It was really difficult for her to make a decision.
In the midst of their dramatic confrontation, cars pulled up, and Kaye's husbands emerged. Mikhail rushed forward and landed a powerful punch on Timothy.
"How dare you show your face here!" Mikhail bellowed, his voice seething with rage.
Before he could strike again, Raon and the others intervened, pulling him back.
"Calm down!" Raon urged Mikhail, then turned to Timothy. "What the hell do you want?" he demanded.
Timothy straightened up, wiping away his tears. He composed himself and met their gazes head-on. "I want to see my son, Eros. I want to assert my rights as his father," he stated firmly.
"In your dreams!" Mikhail spat.
"After everything you've done, do you honestly think I'll let you near him?" Isaac retorted. "I was by Kaye's side throughout her pregnancy, protecting her and the baby. I was there when she gave birth, cradling him in my arms as he took his first breath. I've been there for him every step of the way. Where were you during all that time? Do you really think you have any right?"
"You all knew where I was! You kept it from me!" Timothy argued.
"Because you didn't deserve to know!" Haru interjected. "Because of you, Kaye tried to take her own life! Do you really think we'd trust you with the child after that?"
"You're all just selfish! You only care about Kaye for yourselves! But I'm her husband too!" Timothy countered.
"How ironic," Kurtis scoffed. "Did Kaye ever truly accept you? Let's not forget, you forced her into marriage."
"But I did it because I love her! I love her more than anything! I just wanted to be loved in return!" Timothy pleaded.
"Your version of love is toxic," Tristan interjected. "If you truly loved her, you wouldn't have hurt her. That's not how you show love."
"I know! And I regret it! Why can't you all understand?" Timothy pleaded.
The altercation escalated into a physical brawl outside the mansion.
"No matter what you say or do, we'll never let you near Eros! Not while I'm alive!" Mikhail declared fiercely.
Timothy clenched his fists. "Stop pretending you care about my son! I know deep down you despise him and want to hurt him!"
"What did you say?" Mikhail's anger flared, and he punched Timothy again.
The fight descended into chaos as the men's altercation intensified. Overwhelmed by stress and pressure, Kaye couldn't contain her emotions and fainted.
Kyle, witnessing her collapse, swiftly caught her, and the men halted their fight, realizing the gravity of the situation. Kyle rushed Kaye to the car and sped off to the hospital.
