Chapter 66 - Rekindled Love

Kaye waited in the garden, admiring the flowers. A soft meow caught her attention, and she smiled as she picked up her cat.

She turned around when she heard the sound of approaching footsteps, she saw Mikhail.

"Hi," she greeted awkwardly.

Mikhail looked in another direction and asked, "Are you waiting for me?"

She nodded. He took a seat on the bench.

"I'm sorry," Kaye said, lowering her head.

Mikhail asked, "For what?"

"For forgetting you... and not believing your words," she confessed.

Mikhail offered his hand, saying, "Come here."

Kaye walked over, and Mikhail pulled her onto his lap, embracing her tightly.

"It's not your fault. I knew everything," he whispered.

Tears welled in her eyes. "But... Timothy and I..."

"Sshhh... I already cleared things with him. He won't bother you anymore," Mikhail reassured, burying his head in her neck. "I missed you so much, Kaye. It hurt when I was forced to send you away and leave the city."

Kaye caressed his face, asking, "Did you resent me?"

Mikhail replied, "Never. For you, I will endure everything, even if it pains me a lot."

Tears streamed down her cheeks. "I'm sorry... I'm truly sorry."

Mikhail, holding her hand, asked seriously, "Why do you keep apologizing?"

"Because I caused a lot of troubles for you and everyone. I felt like I don't deserve your love," she confessed.

Mikhail kissed her, saying, "Having you is more than enough. Even if you make troubles multiple times, I'm willing to clear up everything for you. That's how much I love you."

Kaye smiled through tears. "I love you, Mikhail," she said.

"I love you more," he replied, and they shared a tender, passionate kiss.

Breaking the kiss, Kaye asked, "By the way, who is the woman you were with at the restaurant?"

Mikhail scratched his head, explaining, "She's not important, just a daughter of my grandpa's friend. I was forced to join her that day, but don't worry, there's nothing going on between us. I don't even like her."

A grin appeared on his face. "Why? Are you jealous?"

Kaye blushed, stammering, "O-Of course not!" avoiding his gaze.

Mikhail teased, "Are you sure? Why is your face so red?"

"N-No, I'm not!" she covered her face.

Mikhail chuckled, removing her hand, and kissed her cheek. "You don't have to worry about her. In my eyes, you are the most beautiful woman in this world. My heart only belongs to you."

Kaye smiled and hugged him tightly.

....

A powerful slap struck Timothy's face. "Darling, please calm down," his mom urged his furious father.

"You fool! How dare you get involved in such a scandal! Messing with Fuentebella over a woman? Have you lost your mind?" his father shouted angrily at Timothy in the hospital.

Timothy clenched his fists. "But I didn't do anything wrong. That woman was my lover. Fuentebella stole her from me."

"Shut up! Aren't you ashamed? Our family had a great and clean reputation in the past, but now it's stained because of you. I allowed you to become the mayor to continue our family's legacy, and this is what you do? Shameless!" his father continued to scold him.

"Darling, please don't be too hard on your son. He's still young; he just fell in love and couldn't control his feelings," his mom interjected.

"In love? That's bullshit!" his father glared at Timothy. "I hope this will be the last time you cause trouble. I've had enough of this." With that, his father left the room.

His mom comforted him, patting his shoulder. "Please understand your father; he's just concerned about you."

"I'm sorry, Mom," Timothy apologized.

His mom smiled. "Please take care of yourself. We're leaving now." She kissed him and then left.

Alone, Timothy let out an evil laugh. "Concern? That's nonsense. I'm not done with Kaye. I won't stop until she becomes mine," he muttered.

....

Mikhail walked to the kitchen when Raon blocked his way, prompting a raised eyebrow from Mikhail. "What do you want?" he asked.

"Who's that woman you were with in the restaurant?" Raon inquired seriously.

"I already explained everything to Kaye; I don't have to explain it to you as well," Mikhail asserted.

Raon grabbed his collar. "I'm warning you, don't make her cry again, or I will never let you go near her. You have no idea how much pain she felt seeing you with another woman."

"Tch," Mikhail pushed him away. "That woman was just a nobody. And don't threaten me; that won't scare me. I love Kaye, and I won't do things I'll regret in the end." He left Raon, who clenched his fists.

Raon went to the living room, finding Kaye watching TV alone. He approached her, hugged her from behind.

"Honey," Kaye smiled.

Raon kissed her cheek. "Are you feeling well now?"

"Yeah, come and join me watching this movie," she replied.

Raon sat beside her, embracing her as they watched.

"Hon, why don't we take a vacation? We own a private resort; we can stay there for a week and relax," Raon suggested.

"That's a good idea. Christmas break is coming; let's go there with the others," she agreed.

"Alright, I will arrange everything. This will be our first outing in this world," Raon said.

Kaye smiled. "You're right."

Raon kissed her on her lips.

"Hon, Mikhail was in the kitchen," she whispered.

"He's busy right now. Let's go to your room before others come," Raon suggested.

Kaye glanced at the door and then smiled naughtily, responding to his kisses. Raon carried her upstairs, heading to her room.

After closing the door, Raon swiftly removed her clothes while kissing her passionately. He carefully pushed Kaye onto the bed.

"H-honey~" Kaye moaned as Raon kissed her neck, leaving marks that hinted at their passion.

"I love you, hon..." Raon whispered into her ear and gently bit it.

Kaye moaned in response. "I... I love you too..."

She moaned louder when Raon sucked her right nipple while his hand was playing with her other nipple. Her face turned red as she covered her mouth, she couldn't moan loudly or else someone would hear them. She tightened her grip to Raon's shoulders when he began to play in her private part using his tongue.

"H-Honey... T-That's... A-Aaahhh!!!!" she moaned.

It's driving her insane. Raon continued to licked her there, his tongue went deeper inside which made her moaned louder. The sensation became stronger when he inserted his finger inside and moved in and out faster.

She spread her legs widely, she placed her right leg on his shoulder and pulled his hair because of the strong sensation.

"H-Honey... I-I'm.. A-Ahhh... C-Coming!!!" she moaned.

Her body trembled as she came.

Raon licked his finger while locking eyes with her. Her face turned red, signaling arousal. Raon smirked at her blushing reaction. As he removed his pants, Kaye's eyes widened at the sight of his size.

"W-Will it fit?" she asked.

Raon chuckled and kissed her cheek. "It will, hon."

She bit her lower lip as he inserted his thing inside her. He kissed her on her forehead, nose, cheeks, and lips before moving faster inside her.

It's getting deeper, and the sensations grew stronger, she felt the impending climax and tightened her embrace around him. The room was filled with their moans.

.

.

Mikhail raised an eyebrow as he returned to the living room, only to find Kaye no longer there. Glancing upstairs, he could hear their moans. The glass in his hand shattered, and he gritted his teeth.

Fuck that bastard!

He had only gone to the kitchen to cook for Kaye, and when he returned, Raon had already taken her to the room.

"I'm back!" Haru exclaimed, but he halted when he sensed Mikhail's dark aura. Gulping, he slowly stepped back. Man, this guy is so scary.

Haru walked out of the house immediately.

.

....

Fast forward...

"Everyone, let us all welcome our new regular writer in our company, Miss Rubie!" their PD announced.

Applause filled the room as Rubie officially became a regular employee in their company.

"Rubie!" Kaye hugged her tightly. "I'm happy we will see each other every day at work."

"Hehe, me too! I'm glad I was accepted as regular," Rubie replied.

Tin joined their hugs. "Waaahhh, this is a call for celebration!" The three friends jumped and danced together.

During their break:

"I can't believe the mayor did that!" Rubie exclaimed.

"Sshh. Lower your voice," Kaye cautioned.

"It was so out of his character. When I looked at him, he seemed nice and gentle. How come he did that, you?" Tin questioned.

"Even I can't believe it. But we are not perfect. I'm just hoping that someday he will find someone who will love him too," Kaye shared.

"But is it really true that you and the Fuentebella underboss were dating? Why didn't you tell us that? And what happened to your suitors?" Tin asked.

Kaye scratched her head. "H-Hehe... It's a long story. But yes, he is my boyfriend."

Rubie and Tin's eyes widened. "Really?" they both expressed surprise.

"H-How did you two meet?" Rubie inquired.

"Well..." Kaye looked in another direction. "He once saved me, and then... we fell in love with each other. Hehe!"

"Kyaaahhh!!! I want to write a story about you!" Rubie exclaimed.

"Pft. At least someone will come and protect you anytime. I've been reading lots of mafia love stories. I can already picture your love life," Tin said.

Kaye smiled. "I'm glad you guys didn't object."

"Why would we do that? You don't know how romantic he is during the broadcast." Tin cleared her throat. "She's my woman, and I will protect what's mine," she imitated what Mikhail had said.

Kaye chuckled. "Haha, that's enough. You're so funny!" The three laughed together.

"Kaye," their coworker called.

"Yes?" she asked.

"Someone was looking for you outside," her coworker said.

"Huh?" Kaye wondered who it might be.

"Excuse me, I will see who it is," she told her friends.

The two nodded, and Kaye went out to see who was waiting for her.

She noticed a man standing at the entrance, his blond hair complementing his fair, white skin. He was tall and quite striking in appearance.

"Excuse me?" she asked.

The man turned around to face her, and her eyes widened as she recognized him.

"Kaye..." the man smiled.

"V-Val?" she muttered.

"Yes, it's me." He hugged her tightly. "I finally found you!"

Kaye was overjoyed and tightened her embrace with him.

"How did you find me? And how are you? Where have you been?" she asked as they sat down in the lobby.

"I was in Italy," Ivan replied.

"What? That's too far," she said, feeling sorry that Valentine had ended up outside the country.

Ivan scratched his head. "You're right. That's why I had a hard time finding you. I'm glad I listened to my mom when she said I should take a vacation in this country. When I came here, I saw the news about you. Then I searched for your information," he explained.

"Everyone will be happy when they see you," she said.

"Is everyone already with you?" he asked.

"Yes, only Izekiel and Max are missing," she replied.

Ivan smiled and kissed her hand. "I'm happy to see you again, Kaye."

"Me too," she said, smiling.

They hugged each other again.

After her work, she went straight home with Ivan. Everyone was also surprised to see him.

"Damn, you're a foreigner now," Haru commented while checking him.

"You're making me uncomfortable; stop staring at me," Ivan showed a poker face.

"Haha, you ended up in a very far place!" Rein teased.

"That's not funny," Ivan said.

Tristan patted his shoulder. "Welcome home."

Ivan smiled. "Thanks."

"Now that Valentine is here. Let's party party!" Cedie exclaimed.

"Alright!!!" Rein agreed.

Everyone began to prepare and cook. Kaye wished that they would always be like this, happy and worry-free. She hoped that they would find Maximilian and Izekiel soon.

....

Timothy had already been discharged from the hospital. Reporters came to see him but he ignored them.

In his office, he read comments about himself, frustration building until he threw his phone. Angered by the public's lack of understanding.

They don't know everything.

He attempted to calm down when the door suddenly swung open.

"Ma'am, please. You can't enter without an appointment with the mayor!" the guard asserted.

"Shut up! I have something important to say to your mayor!" the woman retorted.

"Who are you?" Timothy inquired.

The woman fixed her hair and cleared her throat. "I am Dhyna... I'm Mikhail's future wife."

"Leave us," Timothy instructed the guards, and they exited the room.

"Future wife?" Timothy questioned.

"Yup, and I came here to join forces with you. You are Kaye's lover, right?" Dhyna said.

Timothy raised an eyebrow.

"Let's help each other. Let's separate them. Mikhail will be mine, and Kaye will be yours," Dhyna offered.

"And how will I be sure that your plan will be successful?" Timothy asked.

"Don't underestimate me. I can do everything I want. My family is powerful. I can help you take Kaye to a faraway place and live with her forever," she declared.

Timothy smirked. This woman seemed desperate, a potential tool for his goals. He couldn't turn down this opportunity.
